Its All Gone, and Its All My Fault

Today was a really shitty day, and I was in a very shitty mood. So, I was pissed at my girl and I was pissed at everyone so I decided, "Fuck them, I'll cut my hair!" So I put it up in a ponytail and I sliced away with the scissors until the holder fell out and all my hair was in a pile in the sink.

I fucked up 4 years of dedication just because I was pissed at people and I'm impulsive. I'm so depressed now, I've been crying and I know, I KNOW that so many out there are asking yourselves why I'm crying over hair. I look so terrible with short hair. Everyone, EVERYONE told me how I should never cut it and how I look so much better with long hair, and everyone loved my hair. I got voted best hair in high school and girls wanted locks of it. It was beautiful. But now its gone, and its all my fault. God, I dont' know what to do. The worst part about it is, I actually made her cry because it was gone. God, I wish I could go back.

Even weed isn't making this better. I have a 4 and a half gram sack here of some dang good weed I got from a friend for 10 bucks, but I don't even feel like smoking any of it. Just like I'm hungry, but I have no desire to eat at all.

Wow, that sucks. Sounds like you had some pretty good damn hair. Ah well, eventually it'll grow back. Just smoke some and watch one of your favorite movies and try to put the past behind you for a min and feel great. It always works for me...especially when I have some good shit and not the dirt weed I have now! :mad:

sorry you feel so bad! all you can do now is get on with you life and let it grow back. it certainly isnt the end of the world!

Not at all, we all need to let out the things that eat at us sometimes.

All I can recommend is for you to recognize that clinging is one of the two causes of suffering (the other being aversion), and that clinging to what's now gone can only cause pain. Don't think of what should or shouldn't be, only what is and what you can do with it. Focus on letting go, even of that which you love most, because a focus on wanting what you can't have only increases the suffering.

Everything is impermanent, including your hair, and including the hair you now have... it will grow back! :)

You're feeling WAY sorry for yourself, and really, you still have a whole lot of hair. Way more than me; that's for sure.

Look at it this way. You acted on impulse and learned probably a valuable lesson about that. But it's not like you lost an arm or a leg or a vital organ. Hair grows back. This, too, shall pass.

i'm sorry, i have little or no sympathy for people who do shit like that spur of the moment when they're upset/mad when they're only going to regret it later, learn some damn self control and you wouldn't be in this situation, you think everyone doesn't want to do some radical shit when they're pissed/upset? besides that, your hair isn't THAT short... try having dog fur, and only wanting to be able to grow your hair out, it doesn't work too well, if i grew my hair long i'd have an afro poof... i literally have dog fur, like the kind of fur you find on big dogs that are orginally from cold regions... the ONLY thing i can do to my hair besides keep it cut short as hell is spike it up.

punching hard shit (fridges, walls, doors, cars, ect. ect.) can hurt your wrists sometimes, but it's usually becuase you aren't punching right, i've seen people break their wrists from punching the wrong way.

as well as hands. nameley, mine!! twice. my knuckles dont look right because of my past, deformed and scarred esp. for my age.

inferius, i know this sux, but learn how to punch. people used to say this to me and i would fight them, beat them up, look down at them or at their back when they ran "fuc*ing showed you how to punch huh?" then when i got home, "holy shi*, i think i broke my hand again!!" and i usually just dislocated my pinkie knuckle countless times. swallow your pride, get a boxing lesson. after that, your knuckles wont hurt after fights, but try to avoid them as much as possible.

gothen, im white as well, and i thought i had alot of hair! dude, my hair is like jimi's in my avatar, and im proud! but dude, if u think thats short, dont worry, wish i had yours man. it'll grow back in a flash. apologize to your girl for being this destructive to yourself, your parents(if ya want, but ya should) but most of all, learn from it, grow from it, and BURN FROM IT! a lil humor but yeah, knew a dude who had dreads to his thighs, did the same thing but with the addition of a shaver. what a shock to his self esteem, but he didnt learn from it and he moped about it till the last time i saw him... a bit sad really

When I was 10 I had really long hair, and then they made me cut it and I looked like a boy, and on top of that they permed it wrong and it looked like I had a jewfro (no racist comment intended, I just don't have a better word for it) I was uber pissed but I got over it, I hated my hair to the point where I was gonna shave my head, but I didn't. Good thing I kept it because now my hair still has a bit of a curl to it, and I have the straightest white girl hair. It all worked out in my favor in the end, now I look back and laugh

hair grows back, chicks dig scars, and you have a sack to smoke. i shaved my head one day after my hair was to my shoulder blades. just chill out man, smoke some trees with your chick, and watch donnie darko.

It doesn't look that much shorter because in the second one I had my face down. My face was all puffy and red and I didn't want to take a pic of it like that so I just put my head down. It was all the way a little bit back the middle of my back, nigh 2 feet from my scalp to the end. Now it barely tickles my shoulders.

Now my girl is the one who is mopey and sad. I keep saying sorry, and she keeps saying the same thing, "I know." It makes me feel even worse that she feels just as bad as I did. I don't know what to do to cheer HER up. She loved my hair more than I did.

But, yeah, i'ts cool now, it'll grow back. Still not too happy with myself, but its all good! On a more positive note, I asked a couple of my friends why this buddha I got was so killer and they all told me that the reason why is because our dealer has been getting medical marijuana somehow. I was like, "WTF??" It is an AMAZING high and after 2 hits you're ripped, me and 2 other friends couldn't even smoke a whole bowl of it last night. But, I don't know if its medicinal grade.

But, yeah, I really didn't think this thread was going to get hardly any posts at all, let alone as many as it did. Now I just feel sorta ashamed about it all =) You guys ARE great, though.

Where is your suit and tie in the 2nd pic. WOW, your hair is hort now. You must be bummed.LOL. Glad I could cheer you up
