Need some experienced opinions-quick!

I'm a big guy, over 50 years old, and been a regular smoker for 25 years. About six months ago I was in line for a new job that required testing and went cold turkey for six weeks and was still testing positive at home. The job fell through so I went back to toking. Now I've landed a great new job but will have to pee test early next week, my first ever test. I bought some Duz'z It and Crisis Capsules last time, but from what I read here they will do me little good. No way I can be clean naturally in a week. Will Quick Fix really pass the test? I quit smoking as soon as I found out about the test but that was only two days ago. I'm thinking that I will double up on the test. I'll stay clean and follow all of the instructions for the drink, which is essentially just diluting. But I will also go into the test with Quick Fix and use it if the opportunity is there. If it's not I'll just have to give my own pee and see what happens. Am I missing anything? Thanks to whoever may reply. I've learned a lot on here but am still nervous because I really want this job. I'm also very pissed for having to deal with this crap! When I was growing up this was a free country!

Just found out the type of text I need to take next week at Quest. My Quick Fix is on it's way, will it work with this test?

I'm pretty sure Quest diagnostics is the same place I'll be doing my test. It seems like all employers out here use them.

The last time I had to take a test there was about 4 years ago. In all honesty, it was my first test and I had no clue what I was doing. So, I bought some drink called Eclipse from GNC, and spent 2 days drinking a lot of water and not smoking before the test.

Day of, I woke up, drank a lot of water again, pissed a few times, then took the drink and the 8oz of water it says to follow it with. Waited the hour, as per those directions, pissed and used an at home tester from a local Rite Aid for like 15 bucks. Failed it. Drank another glass of water, and about 20 minutes later I pissed again using another at home test. Passed it.

Jumped in the car, flew to the place, had no wait at all, went in and pissed and I passed.


Now I've got another test coming, pretty sure it'll be at Quest again, and I'm worried as hell. Only took three hits off a bowl a week ago (was clean since Jan before that), did a half an hour on the elliptical machine today, been drinkin water like a fiend since yesterday and I STILL am deciding whether or not to go get some Quick Fix.

And now I have no idea what I really should be doing. Dillute really worries me because I am not trying to fail or have to retake this test.....the aim is to pass it.

buy some clean human urine from ureasample.com or perfecturine.com its a complete kit, you just need to make sure the sample is at an acceptable temperature around 95 degrees + or - a coupleb when you submit it, the kit come with heat packs to warm the sample and a consealable container for the urine is provided, my kit arrived yesterday, just make sure you freeze it when it arrives....

I know this girl who's like a pothead and had to take a test for a job. She passed it by borrowing her friend's urine. I think she put it in a sun screen container to keep it at the right temperature..

I was just in a similar situation last week and took a quest diagnostics test. QF definately works, I was nervous as hell and shaking in my boots while I was in the waiting room, but the stuff really works. Just microwave, shake attached the heating pad place it between two pairs of underwear (because they check pockets) and when you go to the bathroom pee in the toilet while pouring in the cup. As long as the temp reads between 90-100 degrees you are money. Its really easy and the only surefire way.

Was yours the same Quest test? The GC/MS? Were you supervised at all? I was getting nervous about using a synthetic and was about to order some frozen from PerfectUrine, but if you passed the same test using QF then I'll save my money. Before I found this board I spent way too much money on some Duz'z It drink that now seems worthless. Then I ordered the QF 'cause I didn't want to mess with refrigerating real stuff but knowing what I know now that seems to be the best way to go. But I'll go with the QF if it worked for you on the same test. I'm not anxious to spend more money on this. I wish I had a clean friend that I could trust to give me some of their pee!

Yes it was the same kind of test and no I was not supervised. They told made me empty my pockets then when they checked them they took me to a bathroom and closed the door. Most pre-employment is unobserved unless the job request you to be observed, or you are on a retest(what the tester was telling me).

You're the man! I feel a little better now about using the QF. I'm taking my test Tuesday, I'll post my results.

how did your test go?

i would sugest exercise to boost matabolism even though your 50 and might break a hip(just kidding 50 is the new 45) and put the pee that is midstream and not at the beginning because it has less motabolites in it. Do you weigh a lot? Matabolism has a lot to do with it.

Oldtimer.....the only thing that I know that will work is a product I used about 10 years ago called "Herbal Clean Tea". The premise is that you start drinking like 2 gallons of this tea for several hours before your testing time. NO product and I don't care what anyone says, will clean your system out. The tea works by inhibiting the filtering of your blood through your kidneys. Essentially it blocks any toxins that your kidney filters and does not allow it to be excreted into your bladder. This MUST be drank a short time before you take your test. You will be given B-12 tablets to make your pis have some color since it will be clear. I did this for probabtion and a couple of pharmaceutical jobs and I never failed.

FYI, I was a R&D chemist and my companies use to cunduct urinalysis test via HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography) and MS (Mass Spectroscopy) and if you do not take something like I said you are risking alot. These tests are extremely sensitive, especially MS since it can detect down to the atomic level. I don't know of the stuff you are purchasing, but if it claims that it will clear your system and it is not taken right before and preceeding your test, I would not trust it.

PS The tea I speak of use to be able to be purchased at GNC, but I know you can still get it online.

It's now exactly 48 hrs. since I took my test using QF and I haven't heard anything. I was told that that was how long it would take to get the results back. I'm still pretty nervous about it, but I'm not going to ask if I passed. No news is good news with this I think. The test was ridiculous. My heart was beating out of my chest as I sat in the waiting room with the bottle in my underwear. The ridiculous part was that they didn't check my pockets and didn't even check the temp. strip on the bottle, and when I looked at my paperwork after leaving I saw that they checked off that the sample was between 90 and 100 degrees before I even took the test! I just hope QF passes the test. I'm supposed to report to my new job on Monday. If all goes well on my first day and I don't hear anything about the test I'll consider myself in the clear and I'll post the news.

no news is good news. Congrats on your new job. If you failed the admministor of your test would call you and ask you questions regarding why you might have failed. Your job will not most likely even mention the drug test to you, the center would be the ones that call.

Sorry it took me so long to get back with my results but I just wanted to be sure. It worked! I was still testing positive at home and doing the dilution thing seems like such a gamble. No gamble involved with Quick Fix apparently. As long as you have the privacy to substitute and you keep the temperature within range you're in! Take it from another proud member of the sub club!
