JOINTS

I can roll smokeable joints but they always come out all lumpy looking. my dad can roll em like a cigarette all perfect and straight. can anyone tell me or link me to step by step instructions how to roll a good nice joint.

Definitely just practice. But don't worry about making it ciggy looking ... people laugh at those ones.

yeah just ask your pops man. I used to have a roommate that could do that, with less paper also. I used to sit there and trip off how he could roll perfect cig shape joints with half the paper!. crazy.

practice makes perfect

but you could just buy a rolling machine, they are only like 5 bucks

well I got mine for free, and I don't roll joints, I smoke rollies

but they come out beautiful everytime

It takes time to be able to learn the art of rolling, but its more the tecnique od catching the paper.

Well believe it or not eventually your gonna teach your self. Dont be ashamed of how you roll and just make your own technique. Mines is sorta like the standard joint rolling technique but I alter the way I do it and it comes out just like a nice ciggy. Just practice man, you'll get it :).

I know exactly what the problem with your joints are - I had the same problem. Your shake is not 'shake' enough. Keep the weed fine, not quite powder, but fine. Remove stems and seeds and try rolling again.

Of course you need to know how to roll but if your shake is right then you'll have no problems.

the most important step i can tell you is while you're rolling the paper up and down, make one end a little slanted to when you wrap it up, it turned out in a cone shape..

Get your dad to teach you. Don't try and learn off a computer do it with him.

Oh and a good tip: If its all loose and uneven just get a stick and poke it down and drop more in the top so its packed nice and tight. For my first month after I rolled a spliff when I packed it down it would fill half the space.

practice. but also, make sure you spread the bud evenly.

i much prefer cones, and not straight ones, straight ones tend to burn faster and aren't as enjoyable, whereas if you make a fat cone, it'll burn slowly and gracefully like a blunt, but not as good and as tasty as a blunt.....

I actually just taught myself how to roll a joint today. My first one didn't come out too shabby looking, just finished it a lil while ago. It burned evenly and not very fast... it could have been rolled tighter though for sure. I just used one paper.. and rolled it up with my hands. Didn't look very pretty, like all the nice ones you see everywhere.. but it was definately smokeable and it got me high. That's all that matters.. and I don't care what it looks like. :D :stoned:

I dont like those cone joints, I rolled one before. They just dont look right to me lol, I like cigarette looking joints, thats all I roll :).

thanks for all the help guys. I didnt want to ask my dad because its just kinda awkward to me. but if i see him drinking a second glass of whiskey tonight ill ask him because its so much easier to talk to him when hes hammered drunk.
