The laws have now changed. you know when u went overdrawn and your bank would charge you £30? now it legaly limited to £12 and u can claim back the rest from each £30 pound charge from the last 6 years!!!!



100% true i called my bank today and asked for my charge list from the last 6 years and apparently im not the only one who's come to know this.........trust me the banks are feeling it.

I've been overdrawn a cuple of times, thanks Chisme. Can i ring them? Or do i have to fill out a form? I'll end up going in and having an argument and storming out with my money but oh well :0

yeah you have to go into your branch you started you account with make sure to take your account number and sort code.....lip i know of 1 person who has allready claimed which is why im gonna try......we cant lose anything but i knwo if it workes ill be getting about £200 :D

Im in da UK and i have been charged for direct debits, £30 a time. On at least 20 occasions over the last six years, maybe even more. Has anyone done this yet??

yes mate a lady at my mums work has done it and gotten around £300 back


think from every £30 youve paid fro over charges on overdraft...you get 18 pounds back!



now i must of had least 40-50 £30 charges (not joke baleifs)(sp) so cant wait to see how muhc i get.

Wow! Im gonna be LOADED with cash if this is for real. I've paid like over 500 quid in charges, possibly more, this is great news.

Funnily enough, I owe my bank 1350 for an unauthorised overdraft and when I phoned Westcott to pay my monthly 30 pounds, they said they will reduce it to 900 if I can pay the full wack in one go, so the rest must be interest?

This is great news for me, I may be rich soon :)
