OK guys im asking for your help. I need lots and lots of pro marijuana arguments. My mom sort of found out i smoke ...again and i need to convince her that its ok and not as bad as most other things. I dont understand what her beef is. She always has said she would let me drink a beer or glass of wine if i wanted to. So why shouldnt she let me smoke weed? Anyways guys i really really need your help. Please help me in this situation.
Umm, its prohibition was based off racism and dedicated beuarcrat whose department was losing money because alcohol was legal again so he decided to go after marihuana. Also, no legitmate scientific reserach has ever concluded it 'kills brain cells'.
how many people does weed kill each year? 0
how many people does alcohol kill each year? .....
If you live in the US, no parent should permit their child to smoke weed. The possibility of arrest and your ability to get a job is at stake. Not to mention the potential confiscation of their property (car, house) by the government if you are busted.
A thousand legit reasons for smoking won't help. Your best approach is to become an independent adult, and make your own decisions.

Thats sorta my situation. Her only problem is that its illegal and she doesnt want me getting in trouble or anything. Oh well. Im just not gonna smoke nearly as much and be really sneeky about it.Quote:

Well i was talking to her about it again and still her main problem is that its illegal. She just doesnt want me to get in trouble and stuff. But she basically admits she used to be a stoner because whenever i ask her she wont say no. Im trying to convince her its alright. Wish me luck

To be honest i have been thinking about asking her even though she is against it sort of. She used to smoke it when she was a teenager. Her only problem seems to be that its illegal. Is there any way i can get around the legality issue?Quote:
