Just wondering what everyone thinks about smoking with someone older or someone older in their family. I've smoked with 3 of my uncles and I felt that it was terribly uncomfortable and pretty much ruined my high when I was smoking with two of my uncles. My other uncle is pretty cool, so that was actually fun. Anyone on here ever smoke with someone older in their family?

I've never smoked with a parent that I knew, but, at a Rush concert, I smoked a joint with, I'd say, a man in his late 40's... :confused:
Smoking with older folks, especially parents is a great way to learn the old-skool tricks about the cannabis culture. I have an aunt who tokes with me and shes fucking crazy without the green - you should see her when shes goofed!
It sucks when you're with older people and they start arguing among themselves about how they're losing touch with their kids. And then they try Dr. Phil shit on them and you stand and watch like you're not even in the room. Then the kid starts Dr. Philling on the parents and a fight breaks out. Then the dad, who smells kinda funky, starts telling you about his great business idea for weighted shoes that work your legs as you walk, and then he tries to squeeze an 'investement opportunity of a life-time' out of you. but you're not listening because you're pissed from the mere stench of cheap vodka on his breath. Then he starts looking at your penis and smiling.
Yeah...that sucks.
Good responses. I just started smoking with my mom about 2 months ago. When I turned 18 is when I first smoked with her. The uncle I smoked with backpacked through europe twice and been to amsterdam, so I always ask him about the weed over in amsterdam. Waiting until next year to find out for my self though.

i have a question: how did you bring up that you wanted to smoke with an older member of your family, specifically parents? ive smoked with older people before but i didnt really know them. i know for a fact that my dad smoked alot of pot when he was younger (he told me), up until i was born actually. i really want to smoke with him and i have the opportunity to because my mom and sisters are going away for a week on vacation and its just me and my dad in the house. for anyone that smoked with their parents.. how did you ask? i was just thinking about making some brownies and giving him one but i dont want him to freak out or anything. should i just roll a joint and say something like "hey dad you wanna come smoke a fat ass j with me?" like im joking around and if he says yes then its all good but if he says no then ill be like nah im only kidding?
Just ask him nicely. Don't try to spring a brownie on him. Let him have the choice like you have the choice yourself. THEN he'll know you're grownup enough to smoke with. If he wants to, he'll toke with you. If he doesn't, then he'll tell you why man to man. He sounds like a cool dude who deserves a straightforward approach.Quote:

I've been tokin since '72 and I'll be turnin 47 soon,I have several friends who toke,that are older than me,by a decade or 2. I git along with them better than I do with young tokers and I dang sure git paranoid around younguns 18 and under,in fact-I won't toke with them if I can help it,because they crack under pressure from their parents and cops,much easier than us folks who've been around the block--a time or 2..lol.
So next time yer tokin with us old stoners,just remember that they're probably un-comfortable too..lol. :D :stoned:

Torog, I'm kind of a youngin' (22), but I think you would be awesome to toke up with. I've read plenty of your posts and you seem like one kick ass fellow! You remind me of my buddy's Dad/parents... really laid back, seem like a country guy. Very fun to just get smoked up with them and talk about old times.. while I try to follow along! lol :)
ya I love smoking with my ma dukes she rolls the smallest piners ive ever seen and gets stoned out here tree,Then she starts cooking like a mad women it's fucking great....also ive smoked w/ teachers when i was in high school.I used to sell bags to most of my friends parents its reefer madness everyones toking on that shizzal.
I love smoking with middle-aged people because they were teenagers in the 60s and 70s and they have the best stories.
I used to toke up, and occasionally still do, with my best friends dad. He was a old school smoker from the 70's and was cool as hell. He always had a good joke to tell and you NEVER heard the same one twice. Other than him, I have to say no to toking up w/older people. Its not that I don't want to its just the uncomfortableness of it.

I'm gonna date myself,this happend in 1978.A friend and I were workin on his car at his greatgrandmoms house (the only place with a garage) one winter day and she caught is tokin up. scared the crap outta us, all she did was laugh and asked us if she could get a hit,as it had been many years since she had seen any much less smoked! We were so floored!!! she looked at us an asked "What you kids think ya'll invented smokin pot?"
The lady was 93 when this happend,so I suspect she was smokin somewhere in the 20's or 30's!!
i have a younger sister who i always try to get to smoke with me but shes a pussy and never will. My parents i would never be able to smoke with they are completly against drugs. I actually smoked once with my uncle when he came down from jersey and stayed at my house. Me him and my cousin blazed then went to see King Kong and we all passed out in the movie lol
ive smoked with most of my friends parents, where i live almost ever one smokes, or doesnâ??t care about weed, its like blunt-time, all the time.
I've smoked with people three years older than me, not much past that. I don't trust any older person enough. Smoking with an older person, you don't know if one day they'll think about how they've been a bad influence on you and they'll tell your parents. I think that makes sense, I'm absolutely blasted right now.

i smoke a joint with my dad every single day.. for the past like 5 years, and even b4 that, i would buy some for him, and he would buy some for me, ever since i was 12-13 we have been basicly smokeing togeather, i have smoked with 2 uncles, and 1 aunt, and 2 of my buddies dad's.
Smoking with my girlfriend's parents was interesting, to say the least...

actually smoking with a family member of mine ruins it for me...
i see that my mom gets really fucked off of a hit or two, and she laughs non stop.. when i was baked and saw that, i felt bad that i gave her the bud and she wanted to smoke it...
but she had a good time...

ive yet to but i want to with my brther hopefully soon, and eventually my parents, as i know for a fact they both do. Also maybe my uncle and my aunt as i know for a fact they both do as well. my aunt knows i do actually.
I wish I could smoke with some of my teachers, that seems like a really awkward topic to bring up tho.
yah, ive thought about smoking with teachers. i smoked two fatass joints at a dave matthews concert with an old guy, probably 50. it was like the 3rd time i smoked, i was so messed up. the whole concert was like a lightshow
I agree blazin, I like smoking with older people. Not younger.. Seems like younger are still learning how to smoke and don't realize how much money it costs. Now days if you're in my circle. Which I never really do its usually me or me and a buddy never more than that really. No reason to waste unless theres cool peeps. i smoked with a friends dad out of a bong from the 70's named Bob it wasnt uncomfortable at all cuz hes super chill ...sometimes he'll walk in my friends room and criticize our blunt/joint rolling skills lol......im still waiting to smoke with my mom but thats probably 3 or 4 years away

I've smoked with my sister. She's 23, Im 26. It's funny though becuase She is the smartest person in the world to me when we're High. She gets real smart, and I get real dumb. It's wierd its like we turn into diffrent people.
im 17 and never smoked with anyone past 22-23ish I dont really know that many older ppl, let alone ones that toke.
ive smoked with uncles aunts cuzes i have this one friend who smokes and his family smokes but they wont let him smoke with them but whenever i go over i always blaze 1 with his mom dad and uncles he gets so pissed.i dont have a prob smokin with older ppl or family itz just ganja itz been around before us and it will be around after us, just the way i feel about it:jointsmile :
