Why does weed affect your short term mem?
Im just wondering. Because before i smoked weed i already had short term memory, i think it might of gotten a bit worse over the last year or something. But im just wondering, what is it that makes this plant affect our short term mem? have doctors looked into it or anything? I really think people like doctors or scientise should study weed alot more. I think they could find out alot.
Hey, mybe weed IS the gift from god and IN weed it HAS the proof of the exsistnce of God? i think that makes sense? :stoned: it does to me anyway so yeah..... mmmm 'k
Why does weed affect your short term mem?

Why does weed affect your short term mem?
I think it has something to do with the thc settling in certain tissues of the brain and sortta blocks the short term part. Once the thc starts to leave your body your short term will get progressivly better. I think the study I read said something like: Even though it leaves your body and you get better, you do lasting damage to your brain. At least, that is what I read; I guess when quoting I should actually look up what I read. lol I'm too lazy... Also, did you know that thc is also stored in your fatty tissues, that is why it takes longer for fat people to get it out of thier system? Dman it... I bet if they did a study of my ass they would find it made of pure thc... ha ha ha ha
Why does weed affect your short term mem?
It's just a way that THC effects your brain, more specifically your Cerebellum. Your Cerebellum (part of your brain that's in the back of your head near the top of your neck) deals with your internal timing system. When THC is absorbed into your blood stream and into your brain, it effects your Cerebellum by reducing your brain's ability to record STM (Short Term Memory)

Why does weed affect your short term mem?
ahh bullshit!
science knows diddly squat about how the human brain works. and they know even less about memory.
this bullshit conjecture about right brain-left brain, long term and short term memory, and who decides who needs shock therapy, and synapses and dopamine and on and on and on,
its all theory!
most of all they claim to know about a brain is just guesswork!
and besides, marijuana doesn't affect long term anything!
Why does weed affect your short term mem?
Middle age, not marijuana, blamed for memory lapses, from the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle. Alcohol, on the other hand, *can* cause permanent memory loss. ... for these synapse lapses, say researchers who study memory and the human brain, and it has nothing to ...

why do people believe all the propaganda fed to them?
the answer is "because most are kept dumb by the government on purpose"
cant have the sheep too smart can they? btw go get another drink of flouride water and watch some tv.
Why does weed affect your short term mem?
the real question is, why do people instantly dispute all the negative propaganda they are fed and absorb all the positive?

GOOD POINT ! ... I had to quit smoking pot for a couple years, due to job, and after about 6 months, I 'felt' smarter, my memory improved 1000%, and kept improving ... seriously, my thinking processes really improved greatly... now, Im smoking heavily again, and feel slightly stupid when stoned ... of course, that won't be noticed in here ... :D

theres plenty of negative things going on in this world that are fact
also theres plenty of lies about cannabis designed to scare away people from it
all so some asshole can stuff his pockets with money
flouride in water will destroy your short term memory
they put it in public water supplies to keep the public dumb
so if you have a hard time with short term memory dont just blame cannabis
there could be other reasons also
one more thing
the way we are taught from birth to store memories is not the best way
look up Kevin Trudeau mega memory courses for example
if that were taught in schools and used in everyday life we would all be a hell of a lot smarter
a chinese 6 year old knows more than your average 12th grade American
different teaching methods can make a world of difference
