BAD LUCK WITH SEEDBOUTIQUE.COM!!

I guess that I had bad luck with seedboutique.com, because I sent my order on May 8th (June 1st as of now) and still have not recieved my order. I knew the chances of getting my beans intercepted could happen, but DAMN!! I heard so many good reviews on seedboutique.com that I thought it would come to the U.S. for sure! My process: I went to the local Postal Office and purchased an envelope. Next, I filled out the order form and went to the local convience store that had Western Union. I then purchased an $111 money order and placed everything that I needed to complete my process inside of the envelope, and mailed it off (84 cents for International shipping) to the seedboutique.com company. I also used a fake name and a friend's P.O. Box so I could recieve the order. What in the World did I do wrong?? Could someone please give me tips on what to do different next time, and also, another reputable bean company that I can rely on to ship to the U.S.??

Have you emailed them to find out the status of your order?

I bought seeds from canada and it took over 6 weeks to get them, so you may just need to be a little more patient.

Also, did you make sure to send an INTERNATIONAL money order and not just a regular one? It makes a difference to them, although I don't know the reason why.

Also when you send something like that overseas SPEND the extra money and have it shipped Global Express sure its another $25-30 but you can at least confirm through the USPS that it got there because they have to sign for it. By sending it like you did it could take up to 3-4 weeks to get there remember its a US Govt. division that in itself tells you alot.

You still might get them. see if you can get up with them. They may not be able to cash western, should of been international money order. You should check with western to see if it got cashed. I know peeps get pariniod about ordering seeds but I have dealt with other thing that are not to be in US without problems. I ordered from DrChonics 3 or 4 times in the last 8 months with a credit card and my address, screw it . They are busy looking for the big bad guy's and hardly mess with someone who just wants afew seeds. Not like I can make a nuke or something. hope you get them later.

On seedboutique.com in the FAQ section (5. How To Order) it stated:
Money Orders:

• We accept regular USD Money orders. International Money Orders are NOT required. Any money order from available from most gas stations, convenience stores, grocery stores and the like will be accepted. Make Payable to ICM Ltd. or leave blank.

I tried to send an International Money Order from the Post Office, but the clerk told me they do not make money orders for the UK (United Kingdom). I don't know why they would accept USD Money Orders instead of International, but who knows?? I will try to be a little more patient with the order, and I'll be emailing them shortly after I get off of the forum. How long should I wait before attempting to send an order out to a different company?

I'll be sure to definitely do that the next time I try to order overseas. How long does it usually take to reach the UK? Is there a tracking number included with the Global Express package?

Why not use a UK seed company? Having it shipped that far seems a bit much when your doing things with money orders...

i would not order from sd,thier has ben problems with change of owners and shit going on their.i think dr chronic would be a safer way to go,if you don't get your seeds.

Which seeds did you order there?
I know Resiviour seeds is closed down for a while.

Thanks for the help! Dr. Chronic was my second choice from the beginning (Wish it was my first, LOL). I've heard alot about Dr. Chronic being good, so I will definitely try Dr. Chronic next, if I don't recieve my beans in 2 weeks. The only downfall to Dr. Chronic is that they don't have BOG's seed company. But I can make another choice if it comes down to it.

I was kind of skeptical about ordering from a Canadian company, because people from other forums told me to stay away from a Canada and Amsterdam-based company because of the police cracking down on the bean banks in those countries. Thats why my choices came down to Seed Boutique and Dr. Chronic which are UK-based companies. Good that you recieved your order, but if comes down to another choice I will try Hemp Depot. I have waited 6 whole weeks (sent order on May 8th, and as of now its June 17th) for my seeds to come in the mail. I really don't think that they are coming in the mail, anymore eversince I had trouble getting a book out of the P.O. Box (http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=69993). I would hate to give up on my dreams of growing some of the best herbs that the world has to offer, but I'm just doing nothing but losing money!! I guess its because I'm new to all of this. I've been reading tips on how to get beans in the mail, but everything I have done has failed so far. Hate to sound depressing, but how would you react if you kept losing money for nothing?

I have a PO Box at the local UPS store and the guy in there told me that I need to give him a list of names that I well be getting under as if its not on the list they send it back. Really sorry to hear you haven't gotten them as of yet. Yes the tracking number is included that way you know they at least got your $$$. Whats your alias on ICmag Boss ? PM me there with your addy and I'll send you out something.... what about some DJ Shorts Flodica seeds I just finished up ? Or something else ? What did you order on SeedBoutique ?

Order some seeds from Dr. Chronic. If you receieve the beans with the luck you have then that site will definitely be my first choice when I order some :D.

I guess you could go with Dr.Chronic, but I still think GypsyNirvana is the best. Try sending cash, I send cash to both Dr.Chronic & GypsyNirvana and got my beans within 12 days. Good Luck on your next attempt :thumbsup: ...

You'll get the seeds. Your payment just is being slow getting there. I've had things take 4 weeks just from canada sent the economy service. If they're intercepted, you'll get a letter saying "Cannabis seeds...blah blah blah blah...Cannabis seeds...blah blah blah...illegal, so you don't get them." So unless you don't get that letter, you should get them.

Very satisfied with Kind Seeds. Orders do get confiscated sometimes, seems like about 1 out of 15. That's one reason I order from Kind. Huge selection, gauranteed delivery, credit cards. Seeds come in 2 weeks.

If your order was confiscated at the border you will get a notice telling you so. A few days later the cops will take you away. Just kidding about that last part. Nothing else happens.

it won't matter who you go with as long as your name isn't registered for the address you are using. and that postal worker is wrong about the m.o.'s...the uk accepts those pink, intl m.o.'s. ask gypsy...better yet, call him! that's what the number is for. just get a phone card and you'll get an answer right away but my bet is the name on the package wasn't registered for the box so it's in transit back to the sender. you need to let them know what's going on if satisfaction is expected. there have been a rash of these types of posts lately and most could have been solved by first communication with the seller before sending off the order and second, the address matching where the buyer is to pick it up. it's a combination of both and people sending cash should especially be cautious and sure contact has been made so both parties are working off of the same page...

and other times orders are held because stock is currently out and a second choice wasn't written down and without further instructions they wait until new stock comes in...once again, communication is the key!

My name on ICmag is BOSS30349. I should be getting my P.O. Box tommorrow. So as soon as I get my address, I will PM the information. Whatever I can get would be just fine. I'm not too picky, except that I would prefer a pure or close-to-pure indica type. I looked up DJ Shorts Flodica and that seems pretty nice since it is close to a pure indica. If they came or not, I still don't think that I will be getting them, because I used a fake name to try and recieve the beans inside of the P.O. Box. I am going throught the same trouble that I am having with trying to recieve a book from FS Book Company. Thats why I think I should go and get another P.O. Box, and then try again with Dr. Chronic!

I remember the clerk saying that they don't have International money orders going to the UK (She was looking on the computer or somethin'), but it was a small town post office, so I'm not sure if that had any effect on the reason she didn't have any!? I believe that the package has been sent back to the sender. I tried to email Gypsy Nirvana about two weeks ago about my order, and they haven't responded back to me, yet! You're also right, "Communication rules the nation"!

my seedboutique order was intercepted in january, what i got back was the package, opened and resealed. Inside there were two small plastic bags with weed leaves on it. They had been cut open and the seeds were gone.
So i made orders with a few othr places. Got scammed twice, and the one other package was also stripped of the seeds. In all I lost about $300. Sucks for me. My local Post Office must really be full of nazis, or something. So now i carry a grudge against postal workers

I have a question. Anyone else here from the states had success getting seeds delivered? If so, from where? After reading this post im very hesitant to trying ordering my first seeds.

Kind Seeds = Gauranteed Delivery. I live in the U.S.

I don't understand what all the fuss is about. Order from some place that gaurantees delivery, or take your chances on getting your order. It's like not voting, then complaining because you don't like how the election turned out.

i've never had a prob with seed delivery. i always email the breeder/provider first and make sure what i want is in stock and ask for a p.o. number to be used with all correspondance in the future...then i mail the funds. i've had success with dr greenthumb, klozit king, heavens stairway (now defunct) and s.d. (aka seedsboutique) and never a prob with any of them and all offer the same guarantees. greenthumb is a good choice for canadian sativa's and kk is good for bc genetics.

Did you contact them and put a trouble ticket in? They have resolved every complaint I've ever read about.

I just got my P.O. Box today, so now I'm ready to go ahead and try once again to order some more beans.
