Determining Strain from seeds
Hey all
so ive just recently got my indoor mix from bcbud, and i was thinking some of these seeds are very uniquely differnt from one another. would you think it is possible to tell the strains apart from the seed. I am sure there are some strains of bud that produce a very individial seed that is easily recognizable, all we need are some pics of the strains we know for certain, and than compare. please tell me if this has been done before. I will post good pics f my seeds soon. Just for kicks... keep it green.

no its impossible to tell, seeds differ in size, shape, design, color etc. etc. and almost no 2 seeds are exactly the same.

I agree, its a phyisical impossibility. You just gotta wait, and you may be able to tell by the high/look/smell

Even then, all you can do is just wittle down the possibilities insetad of being able to choose one choice. Take a baby for example. You can't tell what nationality that baby is from a fetus, and once it's grown you can only take a stab at where it came from based on high/color/smell. Oh wait...

Alright, so you cannot tell the difference from the size, but surely there are unique strates for instance, a white widow's seeds being slighty pale or "white". which would then be thrown under the title seeds are pale or white, along with (im sure) many other strain. so tellnig the strane by the seed won't exactly pinpoint the genetics, but it will dwindle the possibilities and thus making easyier to use other traites such as: taste, smell and color to determine the genetics closer to the correct species... sorry about the grammar, imma little faked up now.. love you all,

iamhigh-indoor mix is a unknown mix of indoor seeds sold only as mix and the package dosent have the strain printed on it
most of the time the mix packs are cheeper because you dont know what your buying
supprise :-)

No lol, how would you even think you could tell the strain just by looking at the seed? You know how many strains there are out there? Why not just buy it from a site or somethin that tells you what your buyin before you buy it? But if your growin a bag seed it'll just remain a mystery seed unless you decide to pollinate one of the mystery seeds and give it a name and sell off some seeds xD.
