Self Lighting Pipe. Possible?

I was wondering can you make a pipe that you can light like you do with a BBQ lighter? I was thinking of making a homemade pipe then putting a hole in the side of the bowl and putting the ends of a BBQ lighter, like the sparker and the butane tube. And then tapeing the part with the butane and the trigger to the shaft.

Has anyone done this before, and do you think it will work? Cuz it would be freakin sweet.

ive seen bongs like that before i think there called one handed bongs just look that up im sure youll find what your looking for

I kind of like lighting it myself, idk it just feels better. I guess a self lighting pipe would be useful if everybody forgot a lighter (which happend to me and my friends once).

Yeah I dont like the idea either, I just like lighting the weed myself alot better for some reason.

try running a DC current into the bowl or weed to light it
we used it in physics to light methane inside a milk jug

I agree, lighting it yourself is more fun. But if you really want a self lighting pipe I'm sure you could find some place that sells them, or someway to make them. Just remember: inventing is more fun when you're high!

Im just wondering, cuz it would be pretty cool, like common a self-lighting pipe.

fix a magnifying glass to the bowl if the butane sparker doesnt work, they have self lighting pipes at my headshop but i think there more of a novelty

Yea, lighting it yourself can be better if you're low on weed and want to corner the bowl. But a self-lighting piece would be incredible for smoking while driving. Which my friends and I do occasionally on backroads.

there was one in a Cheech n Chong movie that looked like a pistol. All they had to do was pull the trigger and smoke came out the barrel
