Girlfriend trouble !! Please help me :(

Hello y'all stoners.... I think some of you might know this one:

My girlfriend and I just went through a sort of a crisis. She threatened to leave me if I didn't give up smoking weed.. now we made a "deal" that I would quit smoking if she would quit drinking. She is all fine with me drinking like a pig and smoking cigarettes and all that.... but she hates cannabis!

I have tried to change her views on smoking marijuana, but nothing has worked so far. She used to be a drug addict, much more than I have ever been... but now she is so against everything that is "illegal" that she has forced me to stop smoking..

What can I tell her to get her head straight?? Any help would be REALLY apprecciated... it's friday now and I should be out among my friends getting high, but instead I'm writing this crap...

Either dump her or give up the weed. It's simple really. If she's worth giving up weed for, I don't think you'd be in this situation. It sounds to me like you prefer weed over her, so she's obviouslly not the one IMO.

bro i got that problem but i told her straight up, that i like it and im not quitting and i tried to explain it but t dont work so i gave up, but i will frever smoke the pot, and ciggarettes and alchohol and mooocho worse, so give her the heads up, me personnaly ide dump her

I would try my best to convince here and drag otu their in between situation as long as i could, while smoking weed, keep shttign facts otu at ehre and shit, i eman why lose either.

But if ti comes down to whats mroe inm,portant? Are u gonan go out wiht this girls for a week or 2, a motnth or 2 or a lcouple yrs, if its a cpuple yrsn thentell her " im not gonan quit until you stpo drinking water" Say hwo u feel about water is how she feels about weed, and ask her to compormise.

If she acutally LOVED u, she woudl compromise, if ti's not at the poiitn of love yet then do it in secret. And if it's a sihitty 1 week relationship tell her, I WOUDL AHVE MORE FUN WIHT WEED ON A FRIDAY NIGHT THEN YOU, THE WEED GIVES MY HAND POWERS SO ATCH OUT BITCH". No aseriosuly tho,mif u actually dont liek weed that mcuh, whats worth more. i had this problem b4 an im sure a lot of people have. jus tell her straight up, ur tha one makin me choose, weed doesnt mind if i do both, an tell her u can find somone who luvs u fer who u are, not what u do. if she luvs u shell stay with you, an if she doesnt shell leave u. so either way u find something out and get tha better

All of the above is pretty good advice...but it doesn't sound like you're gonna change her mind about the weed so what i would do is put the ball in her court by telling her she needs to choose between you (inclding the weed) or nothing...i believe that if she loves you and it's serious that she'll choose you (with your weed habbits)...

Either way your a winner cos you get to continue smoking the holy grass...

A buddy of mine and his girl had a similar dispute. She hates pot but she drinks sometimes. He won't give it up because he loves it and he doesn't like drinking. So when they're spending quality alone time together, he doesn't get high and she doesn't get drunk. It seems to work for them, they've been together for over a year.

Look i did kinda the same thing wit my ex he was heavily into drugs, i said give up the pills or i walk out on u,,,, becoz one thing i cudnt stand was wen he was coming down he was just an emotional wreck and i had to be there for him and i was sick of it. Well anyway he gave them up for me but then the stupid fuck gave up everythin else as well drink, weed, ciggs. i was like wtf have i created ...he had to go
