I just swallowed something, help!

Ok, now in my past I've swallowed pennies..small pieces used for games and gum, but now I got too fuckin stoned. You know how it is when you get stoned and get the munchies? I was chowing down on some food and didnt even realize I had swallowed the band on my teeth until I went to wipe the food off my two front teeth with my tounge and realized it was gone..It's not no where around here and I cant find it so it's obviously in the midst of me satisfying my hunger I ate my band :(. Does anyone think it'll be ok? Will it come out (lol not to be nasty) but am I gonna be alright? I dont think I've ever swallowed this type of material before. Even though it's small I still dont know..it's like a rubber band? What if it's hole loops over something in my system? Oh noes!! I attached a pic of the size of these things, it's fucked my whole high up thinking about it.

Dude, you'll be fine... I'm sure it has been done before, and I bet that they were designed to not to do too much harm if it happens.

they use rubber lab aprons when dealing with acids so I think you wont digest it

You'll be okay as long as it doesn't get hung up in your colon. If that happens, everytime you drop a turd, the turd will stretch the band and pop you in your colon.:D

Orangeman, you'll be fine. Seriously, I worked as a paramedic in college and my husband is a doctor. You'll pass it through in about a day, he said. You could take a laxative if you wanted to speed things up, but it's not necessary. If for some reason it did get hung up on something--which it won't--you'd feel cramps in your gut and the pain would start to feel worse. If that happens, go to the emergency room. But seriously, this'll go through on its own. Kids have swallowed much worse and been fine. After this, take the bands out before you eat or smoke!

you are scared because u swallowed your rubber bands?? your chances of digesting it successfully are probably 99.9999%. you wanna hear something crazy.. i swallowed a tack once. of course i was stoned and my ex gf was sitting on my bed and iwas hanging up this poster and i was lookin up at her on the floor asking for a kiss with the pin sticking out of my lips. (it wasnt a thumbtack either it was one of this ones with the long hourglass shaped plastic piece) anyways she was being a bitch and wouldnt give me a kiss so i stood up to put the other tack in.. and as soon as i stood up it landed in the back of my throat. so i tried and tried to cough it up, and i couldnt so i was like fuck it, and ran upstairs, chugged some water and swallowed it. i think that was the closest ive ever been to seriously harming any of my internal organs. i was xrayed that nite at the hospital and you could see hte pin it was like about as long as 2cm maybe even shorter. within 3 days i went back for another xray and it was gone. and no i didnt feel it coming out LoL. and i didnt search through my shit to find it. LoL

Why are you guys still answering this thread? Orangeman swallowed the rubber band on May 20. Which means that as of May 21, the issue became moot and was finished.
