Why I have decided to use my real name.

Stoners of the world - I have had enough. Ive had enough with being persecuted and troubled by the government, just because I decide to smoke a natural product from the Earth. Are these our lives, or is our life controlled by the government? We all know that theres substantial evidence that points to Jesus using cannabis in sacred rituals, so surely anyone who opposes cannabis is considered anti-Christ? Nearly all of us know that there are cannabinoid (and opioid) receptors in the brain which are 'activated' when we smoke Herb, which means one of two things:
1. We were created with these receptors so we can enjoy the Herb.
2. We have been using Herb for so long that we have evolved.

We should not live in fear of what will happen to us if we are caught smoking or growing Herb. It has been used for thousands of years in rituals and for medicinal uses - people even traded goods with hemp seed!
I dont just want cannabis regulated and legalised though. I want the governments and the 'People in Power' to realise that hemp can help, if not solve, all the global warming problems that we are facing. Hemp can be used for food, fuel, buildings and clothes. One handful of hemp seed per day provides all the nutrition a grown adult needs. Livestock can be fed on hemp seed. If it was legal to grow hemp, then it would solve the problems of forestry - one acre of hemp provides more pulp per acre than timber, and hemp paper is higher quality and cheaper. Hemp stalk is also longer, stronger, more absorbent and more insulative than cotton fiber.

We do not deserve to be treated like this. We are not thieves, rapists, or murderers. Stoners from different nations all over the world can come together and cause no trouble. Never before have I seen blacks, whites, browns, pinks and greens come together so peacefully.

Well, theres the obvious effects that using hemp for fuel would have on the environment. For one, we wouldnt be producing as much greenhouse gases, which are caused by burning fossil fuels (coal, oil, gas), deforestation and the use of fertilizers. Although cutting down trees to use for paper produces carbon dioxide, hemp seems to thrive at high levels and also absorb it quickly and efficiently.
The secondary effects would come later, when we eventually phase out the use of fossil fuels and replace them with hemp. Growing hemp for clothes and building housing would further decrease the carbon dioxide emissions.

It is actually possible to produce all of our energy via hemp. Any CO2 released from burning hemp would be the same CO2 the plant had already taken from the environment - creating a 'closed carbon cycle'. This system of energy production would slow down, if not halt, global warming entirely. You can even run cars on hemp oil - admittedly, it would still release CO2, but only the amount that the plant had used up from the atmosphere, and with no other emissions such as sulphur.

As I said earlier, cannabis hemp can be used to build houses. Not just houses though, we can also use it for insulation, furniture, and drywall. There is no more need to waste our land when hemp could easily replace our timber. This destruction reaches into the homes and pockets of every taxpayer, and meanwhile our children cannot play in the streams and the logging industry gets another needless government refund. Now it is time to turn to the future.

Hemp is our solution.

You have no idea what you are talking about, but hemp is nice; I will agree with you on that point.

1) Cutting down trees does not release carbon dioxide. What you are probably referring to is the idea that trees take in the carbon dioxide we exhale, so when you cut down a tree, more carbon dioxide fumes are able to escape into the atmosphere. The act of cutting down a tree does not release carbon dioxide into the environment.

2) Replacing fossil fuels with hemp oil is not efficient. Hemp oil would not be a reliable substitute for powering cars. And also, burning hemp DOES have other emissions other than just carbon dioxide.

3) This is more of a question.. How does one use hemp to build a house? Or furniture?

Replacing fossil fuels with hemp is only inefficient because we havent researced the possible uses enough. Its about time that our useless, inept goverment got their heads out of their arses and started thinking about us and the planet, rather than lining their own pockets. I agree that burning hemp DOES release other emissions, however they are seriously reduced by using hemp biodiesel. The ozone/smog is nearly halved compared to using diesel. Carbon Monoxide emissions are also halved. But the most important fact is that sulphur emissions are essetially ELIMINATED - and sulphur oxides and sulphates are the main cause for acid rain.

A hemp crop can be grown without the use of herbicides or insecticides and produces up to four tonnes of material per acre per year. It has a stem consisting of an outer skin containing long, strong fibers and a hollow wood-like core or pith. Processing the stems results in two materials: hurds and fibers, both of which have properties that make them extremely useful in building construction.
A variety of products, such as fiberboard, roofing tiles, wallboard, paneling, insulation and bricks, can be made from the compressed hurds. The fibers can also be used like straw in bale wall construction or with mud in a sort of modified cob style of building.
Foundations can be made out of hemp hurds. A hemp plywood frame is filled with hemp hurds combined with lime, sand, plaster, some cement and enough water to dampen, and then let to set for a day and to harden for a week. Theres a brilliant example of the strength of hemp - a sixth century hemp reinforced bridge in France is testimony to the stone-like strength and durability of this material, which is known as â??hempcreteâ?�.

all we need is one bill that institutes a funding campaign for training cotton workers and other workers to work with hemp and manufacture it instead of their current profession. train the workers who would lose their jobs because of a massive switch and you can then make the transition from fossil fuels to bio fuels etc alot easier.

Haha no, Ive looked up my surname on Google and the only thing that comes up is Joe Swierzbinski, somewhere in America. Oh, and I guess my names gonna come up on here now... and there was a petition to legalise herb that my names on aswell.
It cant be that common of a surname, so he probably is related to me in some way. Weve got quite a bit of family living in Russia, Poland, Ukraine etc.
