Shrooms.

Me and a few friends are thinking about getting some shrooms, and from what I've read about them they seem like a fucking awesome trip. The part im paranoid about is .. well paranoia .. I am sometimes prone to be VERY paranoid when smoking a large amount of weed, like if someone calls i'll get really scared and start snapping out of reality but in a bad way. Now my question is do you have 100% control over your body, or do you sometimes walk somewhere or do something in a subconsience manner? We are thinking of tripping when someones parents go out of town, at night and having someone who is sober check up on us.

Depends on how much you take. 3 grams and you feel warm and goofy. 5 grams and your house looks like it's moving. 8 grams and you're a blubbering idiot. (from my experience.) I reccomend having someone sober with you at all times, it's just a good idea for hallucinogens as a rule of thumb, cause you never know how you're going to react. I'd start with 3.5 grams (1/8th of an ounce) which is widely available most places for $15-$30; it'll last about five or six hours and you'll have a blast. Paranoia can cause a bad trip, but just have someone there to take care of the phones and stuff and you should be just fine.

Oh, sorry, this orange crush has gotten to my head. I didn't answer your question at all. If you're really tripping good, you can wander off and not really realize that you're in the middle of a street until someone is honking at you, but as long as you try to keep a handle on yourself you'll be alright.

Paranoia isnt much of an issue with shrooms :)

Weed makes me paranoid to the point that I can only smoke it when I'm alone..shrooms I would take in absolutely any situation.

Since everything becomes intensely fascinating you could possibly find yourself wandering a bit to explore. just try to stay focused, dont wander off without your group. Its like a field trip

honestly i had the same fears, its not THAT bad. just eat less than an eighth to start out. its sweet and not THAT hard to control. all you need is a good accepting, non-frightening scene, good friends, good music and something cool to look at it. its sweet

I had as much control over my body as one could have while trippping on hallucinogens. If you worried about opening up a window and jumping out without being able to stop yourself like the drug commercials you see on TV, then relax.

Take them in a place you are comfertable with and with people you are comfertable with, and you'll be fine man. Have fun!

Aight, sounds cool, I can get an 8th easily (within minutes of asking), and I was skeptical but I think were gunna get some shrooms during the next month, thx dudes.

OH MY FUCKING GOD! i just wrote a huge thing for you, and it fucked up because "the server was busy" and i lost the whole thing somehow!!!


okay pretty much (in a nutshell, sorry im too lazy to re-type everything) i said that just stay calm, have a plant or animal with you(actually you should go outside if you can) because nature is the BEST when your on shrooms. and the two best songs you should listen to are "planet caravan" by black sabbath and "climbing up the walls" by radiohead. i highly sujest that you dont listen to any music with loud screaching noise. it sucks. when you start to feel it, you'll want to laugh uncontrollibly and thats okay, just laugh it all out. and then try to sit back and relax. and whatever you do, do not try to fight the trip. like, dont try to stop the feeling because that will just make it worsse. much worse. and when i was triping on 3.5 grams, i wouldn't have walked anywhere without knowing waht i was doing.

Thanks for the information, I just wish I had an animal. My dog died last year, I want a cat, but I guess I could enjoy the plants and all that jazz if I ever do a hallucinogen.

The last time I shroomed I started with a bad trip, but after the initial unpleasant 20 minutes I started noticing how beautiful everything was (outside) and it turned into something truely wonderfull. So remember to see the beauty in the world to make yourself feel pleasant.
