Can bad weed give you bad trips?

Without having the weed laced with anything, can you get weed so bad that it'll actually give you bad trips?

I changed dealers recently (thanks to the fucking assholes of the South African Police Services) and every now and then he screws me over with really bad schwag. Last night I had a blunt with the stuff and I had the worst case of anxiety and paranoia in a long time.

Worst part is I can't buy from anyone else coz he's the only dealer left in my area. Sometimes he sells me really good weed, but every now and then he screws me over. Do you think it's because he doesn't trust me yet or he's just an asshole?

Well, weed shouldnt make you trip. Only get you stoned.

If you get bad anxiety or paranoia just leave the weed alone for a little bit.

Laced weed will fuck you over, bad weed will just be shit...

Marijuana can cause severe anxiety precipitating to a panic attack, especially in first time users. In fact ER visits associated with marijuana use are very prevalent.

No marijuana can not give you a bad trip but it can give you panic attacks but thats only usually when you smoked heavy dosages for the first time and never experienced what you feel at the time before, but after you get used to it bad times are almost rare for more than 10 seconds.

The worst I have seen from bad weed is puking. Not sure if he overate or what, but I know it wasn't from inexperience. I'm pretty sure it was the weed though.

oh, and chances are, if you get a panic attack, it's GOOD shit.

the panic attack indicates one of three things.

could be a newbie getting too high, could be DAMN good shit and it's stoning you more than you're used to, OR you just have an overall low tolerance for the bud and should stick to small hits.

I think you're right daima. I tried the same stuff (from the same batch) again last night and I was fine, in fact I was a little more than fine after 2 blunts, a couple of bowls and joint before bed-time.

Must have been my imagination.....

But it would be interesting to know if weed grown differently has different highs.

No but I have been sooo stoned that I've felt as though my entire body was turning into dust.

I once got stoned and was picking food from my teeth and I slipped as I was trying to get the stray particles of food, I thought my tooth had just come loose as I heard the "crack" associated with when any cartilage in ure head gets busted, and spent the next five minutes in quiet, slow rising panic, wobbling all my teeth to see if any were loose. Of course they weren't, but it was funny as fuck looking back on it. I don't know why people get so deterred by bad "trips", I find them humbling, even from alcohol. If you can't laugh at ureself after you wake up in a pool of ure own vomite, feeling like the life has just been sucked from ure brains out thru ure nose, only to fall upon attempting to rush to the toilet, then concede defeat by deciding to deal with the consequences of cleaning in the morning, and vomite where u lay. Then you need to take a pill and smoke a joint, because life deals much swifter kicks in the bollox than that. Like when ppl go in to bad acid trips, and talk about it like ''Ahhhh man I thought I was gonna die, I'm never taking that shit again, its evil" yeh but u didn't, rejoice!! bitch! don't you think its funny that a small vial of drugs can make you think ure gonna die, even though ure completely fine physically? Kind of makes you question all ure other judgement calls about ure health and shit don't you think? "Naaaa man, serious, I thought I was guna die!!!!!" and even then, you will never experience a more intense emotion, short of actually throwing caution to the wind and falling backwards off a sheer drop, now this will fuck you up.

Note: I do not condone, nor recommend the activity of falling backwards off a cliff, such activities are deemed dangerous and should only be attempted under the guidance, and supervision of professionals, failing that, you should only undergo said activities under extreme inebriation, as trying something like this sober is just stupid.

Different strains of weed will definietly have very different highs. Smoke some Afghan one day, some Haze the next, and some Manatuska Thunderfuck the next and you'll definitely see the difference. That's one of the big reasons for having so many different strains. Not sure, however, if the high will be different if the same strain is grown in dirt vs hydro or if there's some other difference in the grwoing technique. Any growers out ther care to answer this one?

Well I would consider it a bad trip, but just overwhelming. With weed (at least for me) almost every thought, everything effects the way Im thinking, and strong sativas seem to make this happen even more intensly.

i have a habbit off getting really fucking paranoid off weed but it all depends on the surrounding less the weed.......sometimes though i get fucking majorly intense psycosis but that only happens when i've had too much hash cofy or sitting in pizza hut....
