Smoking & driving

Whatever your view of getting high and driving may be. 95% of the time I get high, It's in my car while driving and I'm a huge, huge pot consumer. I do this because first off, Driving high and sober is nothing different for me expect driving high is million times better. The only neg. is getting pulled over by the cops. Thankfully I haven't yet been pulled over or got in trouble by the pigs and I've been smoking up for a long time now.

I want to get thoughts from my own kind. Getting high and driving, okay? And whats the percentage of toking and driving compared to smoking on foot for you personally.

50/50...sometimes I smoke in the car if I can't get my wife out of the house. Other times I smoke in the shower. For me, it's no different than driving any other time. Pay attention, eyes on the road, do the speed limit, and don't advertise I'm smoking herb...never a worry in 3 years of smoking that way.

I don't do it always cause I usually chill at my house or my buddies to blaze up. I don't really notice a difference when driving stoned/sober. I mean there IS a difference but its not like being drunk. The drive is more interesting, the music sounds better, and long drives are awesome. Everyone should toke up and roll!

I'm the same way.
I love to smoke up when I'm driving somewhere.
I do it so much it's almost habit to me.
It feels great to have the wind blowing and your head up in the clouds.
I've gotten pulled over a couple times blazed, but no trouble other than that.
It's when I was DRUNK that I wrecked my truck long ago, not high.

I've tried driving high a few times i can't do it I go into the other lane. Some people can drive high and that's cool but some can't. I think it depends on who you are because everyones different.

It sketches me out. Too many wrong place, wrong time incidents in my life. I like to smoke in the car, and even to drive high, but when it comes to doing both at the same time, I just can't.

Driving stoned is a guilty pleasure of mine. I LOVE going places I've never been, lighting up, and getting lost while jamming to some Skynyrd. :thumbsup:

I think I drive better while high. I seem to pay more attention to the road. It used to be fun just driving around and lighting up but with gas prices being what they are I now have to sacrifice those old pastimes of driving and flying high. Damn these greedy oil monopolies.:mad:

I really can't see the fault in it. You don't lose motor skills while high...I mean you get slowed dooooowwwwnnnnn but that's about it, so why shouldn't you be allowed to drive and inhale.

I drive high all the time. I smoked all the time when i drove for dhl and I kicked some ass at it.

I drove for Airborn before they made the switch to DHL, making decent money doing something I 'loved' to do anyway. The only problem I had with smoking on the job was delivering the meds to Dr. offices, and pharmacy's; I got extremely paranoid, lol!

lmao :D yep, I hopped on right after the airborne switch. It was odd at first to make a delivery to the police station and shit at first, but after a while I didn't really care. I was lucky to deliver to a very remote area with very few stops with many miles in between. When you have an hour gap between stops, it just screams for smoking :thumbsup:

I delivered over 4 counties if that tells you anything, lmao! Gotta love those 30 min to hour long drives in-between stops. :D

Too fucking scary. Got wasted on some skunk a few weeks ago driving home from work. Talk about paranoid! It was grrrrrrreat shit but I prefer to be somewhere that I can chill out and enjoy being fucked up.

Considering i only have my temps i can not yet drive and smoke but sometimes i will smoke some then i will go for a drive with my mom somewhere. I think if you drive while your high you dont really even fell high when your drivin. The only difference i notice is that i am a better driver i pay better attention to everything on the road. So i drive no different from when i am high to when i am sober.

i kinda don't like to drive unless i'm high. traffic gets me irritated, its too hot or too cold, the radio stations piss me off, etc. but when i smoke i can drive with the windows up and the radio off in heavy traffic and not even care. plus when i remember to put on some music its so good and my car is comfortable as hell

I think im more alert driving when im stoned. I never make mistakes while high, but when sober I tend to make a few mistakes. I think weed makes me a better driver.lol. I'm drunk so I hope this all made sense.hahah

i think anyone that drives while high (unless it is an absolute nessicity, and that doesn't include jack in the box) is an idiot.. but that's just my opinion... of course i'd much rather have someone smoking being paranoid/overly cautious driving near me, then i would some idiot teen on a cell phone becuase their calls are all so important they can't wait 5 fucking minutes to stop....

you know, when my friend and i were doing heroin everyday, we thought we were the best drivers on the road when we were high. every time we got in the car we thought that every stop turn and lane change was perfectly executed. until a sober person rode with us one time and about freaked out at how my friend was driving. after that we realized we were just high and thought we were doing well.

specially for them long tripz, smoke a blunt u'll be there in no time at all

what's really safer? a high person that drives the speed limit, but reaction times (no matter how much you try and say they're not, they are...) impaired, or a sober person with ~normal~ reaction times going faster then the speed limit? i think they're both equally as dangerous....

i dont advice anyone to drive impaired. it you dont care about yourself thats one thing, but think about the other people you are putting at risk. and if you get pulled over, you are busted......pot has an odor all to its own, and the fuzz is trained to detect it. dont make it easy for them. good luck

I've been pulled over high several times. Never once has a cop acted funny or been suspicious. There's just a big difference in being 'high' and being 'stoned'. I haven't been soo stoned that I act all paranoid and stupid in years. Ya just gotta know where your limit is that's all. If you can't smoke a bit and not get all stupid and giggly then don't drive.
