#1 vs. #5... I *think* it means they both have the same lineage, but were developed by different breeders. Each breeder would select plants to propagate for different "ideal" traits to come out. Different phenotypes for same strain :confused: I'm not so good at the bio stuff... I'm sure many here can give a better answer (better chance of them being right too lol).
Different versions. Like backcrosses and stuff. Not sure the exact lineage.
nice thanks, i was lookign in to this NL #1 which looks tasty and also has a lower flowering time, any reccomendations on where to get it from? Dr Chronic?
See purple haze does exist!
as the story goes, the Northern Lights #1 and #5, etc were from same crop, but some exhibited different characteristics, (different phenos, thats all) ... I have 2 Northern Lights phenos going now, one type is typical, the other type has four main branches, different, but nice ... :smokin:
according to THIS strain list, they ARE different strains ... other histories I have read, they are as I stated, so I withdraw my previous answer ... as with most MJ 'names', you can ask 10 different people, and get 20 different answers ... sorry to add to the confusion ... :D
2 of the 6 that i am currently growing are not on the list (bummer)
* Spicy Jack
* Trainwreck
thanks for the info... i was able to spot the other 4
go to this list, too ... http://www.compassionatecoalition.or...ic.php?p=8889&
the Trainwreck is there, and my best guess about Spicy Jack may be Spice x Jack Herer ... but thats only a guess :smokin:
now that's a good list but if they had the flowering time and better if grown indoors out outdoors ect that would be the ultimate list
thanks for the link its crazy to see how many strains are out there and that's not even all of them.... i wish there was something like that but a little informational in plant details.Quote:

I recently finshed Northern Lights (no number) in about 60 days, curing now in glass jars. Got the seeds here:

You won't be disapointed with the potency. A couple big hits off freshly picked oven-dried buds nearly put me down, and I've built up quite a tolerance. The buds look very sugary and icy, but not nearly like White Widow (photos).
