i am 36 and have smoked since high school. i have always worked out but never got high at the same time. then i saw American Beauty. after seeing Kevin spacey get stoned in his garage and proceed to light some incense and workout, i thought i would try it. WOW...what a difference. i smoke everytime i workout now. love it. you get relaxed and can concentrate so well on the muscle your working. just curious if anyone else does this ? 88

yeah you don't even have to use wieghts. Your own body gives you resistance.
I do it every day...it's the only way I can get motivated.
I have gone for runs after smoking before. It is a different way to work out that is for sure. I like it cause it is easier for me to concentrate on my run and I can get really into my mind and just run forever. For me it is easier to push past the pain while ripped too.
It's crazy when your muscles start pulling because it feels like just a pang of an orgasm. I think it does at least.
RFN, i bet that really kills your high quick though. For me it does, if im running my high will get killed.
Weird. I always considered any kind of physical activity too much for the stoned individual to handle.

i like liftin weightz an shit high, but runnin, hittin the punchin bag fer a long time er anythin that getz ya breathin hars iz 2 much fer me. i think ima have ta cut down my smokin a lil.

It does kill my buzz when I am done running, but I am really big into running and stuff and it is nice sometimes cause it really helps you get into that zone and then you dont really notice being high one way or another. I feel like I can get a better workout sometimes like that, everyone should try if you havent.Quote:

i work out 6 days a week (heavy lifting)...i cant concentrate,find that 110% or even do the lifting the correct way...working out stoned is a no go for me.

Well I spend 9 hours a day in a warehouse humping furniture about and weed seems to take the edge off it a bit.
Then when I get home I can do stomach crunch's and the like without it getting in the way.
Plus there is the sativa/indica differance.
But I think that when all is said and done it really depends on the person ;)
aww.. I get so sloth-like when I'm stoned, I just want to lay there and ...Be. Lol. I really need to find a way to get more motivated.
i havent tried working out wen stoned, i definately will tho, i got styoned for my fitness test in gym, i had to run laps in my gym for 12 minutes, it was awesome, it felt sooo trip
