Does anyone know the effects of smokin dope has on the effectiveness of steroids? I'm looking specifically for effects on Deca-Durabolin, Anapolon, Test Cypionate and Equipose.
I'm askin coz I smoke way too damn much but I gym and take roids too - I don't get any negative side effects from smoking and roids but I'm wondering if the roids will work as effectively?
Any answers appreciated

According to the Australian reports from the late 1990's, the ones that were found to be erroneous, higher testosterone levels were found in heavy cannabis users (40 males studies).
You know of the studies showing a very small affect in learning and memory, but, not enough to be considered anything and tests showed no effects had any impact after 28 days. (by the way, these are recent, I don't have time, right now, to look through my bookmarks for the site)

Honestly, I don't think Cannabis affects the hypothalamus, other than the CB1 receptors, and that area of the brain produces testosterone.

1st- If you're gonna use steroids, don't tell people you smoke pot.
2nd- If you're a teenager, smoking pot, lightly, seems to be okay, as long as you persist on it (see CMAJ study above), but those tiny, little residual effects will be exacerbated by the steroid use, and very greatly in younger users.
3rd- I'm really pushing it, time-wise.

i have done research. steroids metabolise into various testosterone derivatives in the body including dht, which is the main cause of hair loss and prostate problems. the body also responds to steroids with an "estrogen rebound" to compensate for the extreme testosterone levels in the blood causing gynecomastia(man boobs) and mood swings. finally the added test causes the body to slow internal production of testosterone which results in shrinking of the testicles. these are known facts.Quote:

Cancer of various kinds, degredation of your internal organs, lots of reasons not to do steroids. Of course, not everyone has problems, and if you make as much money as Jason Giambi, well, a million for medical bills probably isn't a problem. You do greatly increase your health risks by roiding up though. Is looking beefy and tough worth 10 or 20 years of being alive? I'd ask that question of myself before I began any roid regimen. It is, of course, your body to do with as you wish, but be aware of the dangers.

actually in oct i will be retiring from 25 years of firefighting....will take a few months off(to get super high) and then get in the teaching field...want to coach middle grade(7th and 8th) school kids.....hey smokings bad for you too, aint riding a motor bike without a helmet detrimental to your health, the list of bad things goes on....about the only side effects ive had has been high blood pressure, but its contolled by meds....

its all cool willie, i figured thats what you meant, my point was to show that steroids arent gonna blow you up like a baloon two weeks. i never smoked pot before a work out, pot relaxes me and i used it to unwind and take a nap after the gym. water retention is not good for you esp on the level you are stating. good luck and burn after your workouts, its worked for me.

But I do smoke at home, not at home, and church. yes church. I find that when I'm not being thrown out of one for being a drugged up spawn of satan, the highs at church are calming, almost spiritual.
More to the point my thread is actually pretty pointless because whether or not weed affects steroid efficiency, smoking and alcohol does and I do both.

I live in the UK and here steroids are legal to a degree.prove they are used for personal use and I can carry them in the street.
Most of the myths behind steroids are the savage ammounts the pro bodybuilders use ans occasionally one of them dies..Its to be expected.If you want to be the best you have to further than the next guy.
BUT most users of steroids are average joes who research thoroughly first.
Steroids will not kill you or will they fuck you up if used correctly hell my damn doctor is a user himself.
they can prolong your life and youthfulness if used correctly.

rugby wasnt a sport offered to me growing up. i played football, it did pay for my education for about two years, but couldnt keep up grades. then joined the marines where i got a real education......as for sports, now i only lift weights, i cant afford to get hurt and not work. it looks like youd have to be in great shape to play rugby, i like the fact that you keep on playing, not many time outs....but the sport i wished i played was soccer...now thats football.....as for juice i keep my test at 500 mg per week ,when i need to cut, i throw in 75mg fina eod for 12 weeks... and of course under doctors supervision:thumbsup:

I did cycles including deca,test, equipoise and anapolon but are you gonna take them all in one cycle or you gonna bulk up first w deca/test and anapolon and cut with test propionate and equipoise?
I am on GH right now and you know you gotta lower you blood sugar by taking insulin, guess what MJ does it for you. So if one day you get on GH you dont need to stick slin as long as you are cycling mj with GH.
also during contest preperation contestants smoke a lot of weed to deepen their cuts, the key is drinking lots of water instead of going carazy for munchies. If you can hold your self after mj you get sick definition, sliced and diced. I did it before, I did a diet with mj and my bf dropped down to 3% while maintaning lots of muscle.
So mj is good and bad for bodybuilding. it is bad cause you need more oxygen in your lung, it is good cause you can eat a lot with mj and bulk up in winter and you can diet with it and get lean faster.
One quick note, to prevent deca dick you must take equal or more amount of test to supress deca, otherwise your dick will go on vacation for some time.
