Hey guys n gals, basically half my plant is yellow, and half is green, Pretty certain there is no fert in the soil (as the built in fert lasts about 2 months) and I have been topping it up slighly every now and then with 15-30-15.
Haven't fed it in a week but been watering slightly, now the whole plant looks over ferted.
PS: It's only the fan leaves, I know some of the fan leaves die of naturally, cept this is looking like half my plant.

that appears to be a mg deficiency,add 1 tbs(epsom salt) to a gallon of water and use that every other watering....bonbon
looks to me like you need more ferts, i cant see any sighn of overfertalization.
ok added the epsom salt.

Ferted it with 15-30-15 (NPK)
As well as a dash of epsom salt.
No signs of improvements in 3/4 hours.
It's only the fan leaves that are going yellow right now, the bottom 2 leaves are going down the stem, yellow, and crispy.
Pretty certain they are dead, and its slowly creeping up the plant.
Except, on the nodes its not affecting the parts that are flowering.
For example, my lowest node (lower than the yellow fan leaves) is fine, but the tiny fan leaves that were growing of the side of it are yellow, dropped, and just look mashed.
gently pull any dead leaves off. then just give them some time. wait a day or so if you want to see any change. you can also buy a soil test kit to know for shure how much fertalizer you need. hope this will help.
Ok, last night:
After gently pulling the leaves off (took 4 tiers off, 3 came off with a gentle pull, 1 had to be cut and the other side of the node just pulled off)
Then gave a nice water, a bit too much though. Containing 15-30-15 + epsom salt.
This morning, about 12 hours after doing so, no signs of improvement.
I'm going to work, so hopefully it will be different when I get back, but if not, anymore ideas?
nothing new, in fact, it looks to me like overfert now? :(
post some more pics so we can see. how long has it been since those other pics?
you shouldnt of ferted it that second time I think, instead i would have flushed it because it looks like a overfert problem to begin with mix a little hydrogen peroxide (h2o2) in with your next watering that may help get some oxygen to those roots. best of luck.

Mole,you're not going to see any improvement in just 3 or 4 hours,it might take more like 7-10 days,be patient and wait,check the soil pH as well....bonbonQuote:

Too true wg78, basically, the plant is a hermie, thinking about it now, it was before it was suffering from these problems, I saw the yellow looking pollen covered in the plant. o well.
normal fertilizers are sometimes not enough. Its probably a deficiancy, add epsom salt and trace element solutions. your problems should be fixed.
my plant's did it two .flush the soil and lay low to see if it get's beter. like bonbon sead it take's time to see change. we would all like them to grow faster lol..good luck ps:let us know if you fix it and how you did it..thk.s
Slow down here folks! If you have been adding ferts for weeks, there is no reasonable way that it can be lacking already. If you still have the plant. Take it one thing at a time man, dont add ANY more fertilizers. From the posts ive seen you have added at least enough. Flush the pot with at least the volume of the pot in distilled water (1 gal pot = 1+ gallon water). That assures that you have flushed out excess nutrients, then take the pH of the soil. Use a quality device if at all possible. Allow several days for the soil to completely dry out, almost to the point of wilting. At this point you will now know if you had overfertilized, had a pH problem or overwatered. If at this point you still see no signs of improvement, then you can consider trace nutrients, epsom salts, etc. but you have already added those so it shouldn't be an issue. How big is the plant and how big is the pot? Are you using water from a water softener that has jacked to salt level in your soil through the roof? Are you using tap water then has far too many contaminents in it? Stick to the simple things and eliminate each option individually and completely before moving to the next option. Slowly as possible.
i had this same problem its either lack pottasium or lack of magnesium get a water soluble fertiliser and put it into a spray can spray it on the leaves as it will pretty much get into the leafes within 10-30 mins give it a go it worked for me
