just picked up an eigth of some "trainwrek" it smells REALLY good, almost fruity. but i dont think its all that great, it gets me stoned. but not like this legendary strain should...
what do you all think (if you can even tell from the pics, those pics are SHQ on my camera (super high quality i guess) lol

God, you might be in too close tried steppin back a bit or set it to like a close setting( On mine i use the setting that says for flowers up close in bright light lol)

looks like average bud, i live in norco though and i got a hook on trainwrek, and it looks like that, smells real fruity, but has so much kief on it, it forms into sticky pollen residue(natural hash) inside the bud when you clean it. soooooooooooo stoney. i cant really tell without a firsthand look, but i'd smoke it :smokin:

i've never been asked which strain i'm smoking with someone, i've never bought a strain from someone, i've never even knew there were strains until i came to this site.... around here prices are directly related to bud quality and that's it... like an 1/8 of some really shitty mid (bordering on scwagg) costs 10 bucks, but an 1/8 of some reallly good mids (it may even be chron. i dunno, i've very rarely seen crystals, but my weed's always had redhairs, and almost always covered in them) might cost you up to 15 (you pay 10, but it'd be like .5 or so less than an 1/8)Quote:

oh yea, it could just be neglected train wreck, we all know that strain is nothing without an experienced grower who knows what he's doing. a really great grower could probably grow an even better plant from a bag seed (assuming it was actually able to grow, and wasn't a dead seed or something) then a newb with a seed of white widow... the bud looks nice, so it could be trainwreck, that just wasn't given the best attention...
Alot the bud that circulates around here are from local growers so usually they come with a name, and usually the name is right. Then you have the shitty-mids buds that from what i know almost always are from BC and to compete they label it with made up names but you realize its all pretty much the same shit.

edit edit: god, when you are taking pictures, make sure there is sun light, take them from diffrent distances and always brace your arms very well, so that there is as little movement as possible. hold slowly press in the shutter button... i found my camera takes way better pics if i slowly press then when i jerk it. and don't move for one second after the picture is taken. like when you see the flash or hear a beep, say '1 mississippi' in your head b efore you move at all

^ thats so true, you have to be rich to be poor in NYC! 2/3 of the population in New York city are on public assisted housing!! as for the pictures of TW it looks pretty dark but it could be just the pictures. i have bought a lot of that strain in many cannabis clubs around the bay area where its very common. Its never had a fruity smell though i can tell you that. its a very hashy smell. reminds me of paint thinner or something(just cause its so strong)! its generally a bit lighter in color then the buds in the pic posted.
