Ok guys, my lowryders i got growing are on day 12 and only their 4th node... and their drooping a bit.
I know the first 2 weeks are the slowest so im hoping they'll perk up.
My temps are above 90's but i got another fan in there now.. Is this temp prob the cause of the drooping? It's just never affected my other grows.

hydro or soil? You're about where I am, I'm just a little behind you. But, mine are really picking up steam now on the second node. I'm doing DWC.

Oh cool, no, nice green healthy stems and waterings are when dry..
It was only the leaves drooping, but i wasnt sure... BUT always better to get a second opinion. and yeah from seed.

Ive got day 13, thats the earliest. At day 16 they both showed their sex (female). Day 28, and Fiona 2 was just starting to bud. Got one outside aswell, not sure how old she is but shes looking pretty unhealthy.
I suppose the pics would help aswell.
Edit: I got the droopy leaf syndrome aswell, but it cleared up in a day or so. Got it at day 15, just before they showed their sex. Most of the Lows that Ive grown have done this, so it may be down to the autoflowering trait, or just the genetics of the parents. :confused:

Ok, my plant is looking alot better now, gave it a really weak nute solution and raised the lights 5 inches, put a better fan on it, and played it music. It's perked RIGHT up, and grown a new set of leaves in about 2 days, next set are comming through, and i got it comming up for preflowering any time now.
I got it on 18, but when it starts to show sex im gunner put it down to 17/7 even though i know they are autoflowering im gunner give it 1 hour extra of darkness. Fingers crossed they#re both female lol
Cant you tell yet? With this batch of seeds, Ive noticed that they show their sex at a VERY early age. This photo was taken at just 16 days after sprouting!
Also, Ive found that they do like very, VERY weak nute solutions after about 2-3 weeks. I overferted one of mine, and if I can find the camera, Ill take a picture of her tonight or tomorrow.

Ok, as you all know, i got 2 growing, 1 of them being about 3 or 4 days behind the other.
The one thats in my pics up there^ is a female, showed me its "Bits" on day 16.
Just waiting for the other now.

Hehe, it is taking the lazy option isnt it LIP? Thinking of sticking my two outside sometime next week (when the showers are over and the temp starts getting into the 20's again) to see how they fare out there. Had a couple of males outside, and they lived - didnt grow much because the temps were still in single figures, but they lived.
I swear Im turning middle-aged. First I start watching Countdown and 'Deal or No Deal' on a regular basis, then I start talking about the weather. All I need is a cardigan and a pair of slippers.

Well, I'm seeing the same problem I think at about the same time (11ish days, third to fourth node). I'm not too concerned, they still seem to be growing rapidly. I did get a little nute burn however since I changed my res this afternoon, but I diluted my solution, so should be fine.
ive just started some lowrider, just a quick question. you cant top them can you, if not, how do you reckon theyd react to LST
Hm. I'm pretty sure Swizzy topped his Fiona. He may have the answer.
As far as LST. I'm sure you can do that to any plant, Lowryder included. Don't know why you'd need to, they're already the Pygmy of the cannabis world.
true say, i'm just trying to maximise my yield as its an outdoor grow and the light isnt that strong where i'm growing them.
Well, Yes, you can top them, but its one of these strains that dont like it much... It one of them strains that really does best if you leave it..
But yeah, i supose it'd work.
It's pretty short anyway, so not much need to top it....
My plants are showing some discoloration today, kinda frustrating :/. But, they seem to be growing still. I'll take some pics when I get home later tonight. Hopefully they keep going.
Yep I did try and top Fiona. Did it at around 24 days, and she didnt grow the main cola back. Id have a go at doing it again if it was done at an earlier stage, but for a plant this small, youll only get a couple of grams extra (if it works...)
Oh and Id tie the bottom buds down when they start flowering with Lowryders, unless youve got a light thats above 600w. It really does make a lot of difference, and only takes 15 minutes and a bit of string.
Ok, in the end i got 1 female, and a male, which i took out and stamped the shit outta it. For now, i only want bud. Still got a few seeds so hopsfully i'll get another female and another male and make some seeeds.
So now im in flowering...

How are the plants doing LIP? Dont think Ill actually get anything smokable off these two... they were VERY heavily pollinated, and I quick dried a small bud the other day. Was bloody good, but the amount of seeds in it just wasnt funny. Did about an eighth, and musta got at least 10 seeds in that small bud.
Well, looks like the free seed handouts are definately on then! Might flog a few on eBay aswell to make a quick buck.
Well, i know a few of you want updates, so i took some pics. I got 1 female, and 1 male. Male is now in my back garden where i kill it.
Heres a few pics of the female, now at day 22.
Its got pistilles all over it, altohugh my cam didnt pick them up.
The secondry growth is also comming though very fast.
Smell is getting nicer and nicer too by the day :):)
And a quick question to you computer ppl..
MY webcam will take pics, but it wont work on msn... It's all installed and everything, it just never connects... any ideas?
Also someone asked how i sorted out the drooping. Well, i thought it was heat, so put another fan in their and raised the light by about 4 inches. Did the job, but it might have not been that. Swizzy though it might just be the ruderalis, and i also think it might have something to do with it, it was only droopy for about 1 day.

I bet she is smelling nice right about now. It's too bad the other plant's male -- should try and save a little pollen; then pollinate one of the little popcorn buds on the female later on.

Lol, i know, im white as fuck, but i dunno why! Im out in the sun alday at work, but i dont seem to get a tan... kinda sucks, but oh well, maybe this summer it'll get better.
