k today i went and checked on the buds that i am curing. they have been curing for like 2 weeks now. I went and opened the jar and they was white hairy shit all over it. i thought at first it was mold but then there was so much and they look like beuityful crystals but there is a huge clump of the hairy things so i thought it would for sure be mold. sorry if u can't really understand this message becuase i have been smoking non stop all fricken day. sorry peace

frum the soundz ov it itz mold. if it wuz cryztalz they wood b all over not juss in one patch. i woodnt cure in a jar next time.

i dunt cure in any contained object like that. ive done it a few different wayz, usually itz done like tobacco, hung in a barn er warehouse. i find that werkz best.

nah, I use brown paper bags and then switch to glass jars. You just have to remember to open them every now and then for airflow and I've never had a mold problem.
now that i have looked at it when i am sober i am pretty sure it is crystals. they r kinda shiny and r kinda sticky. but it was weird how they just grew there.
jars are really for maintaining moisture balance in your weed after it has gone through about a week of amin curing...then after that you can put it in a jar and open it every day to let it breath a little so it won't get mold like you got....the jars are to keep them from getting ttooo fry, not for curing...i have read about that if you dry your shit out too much...you actually take away the water in the thc molecules and therefor soem thc is no longer any good....damn what a waist.....good luck
yah me an a few ppl do er up ery now an then. az fer the jar, if yer usin one, u shood open it like he said ta ventilate er else u may get mold. the op wuz too far fer us ta keep goin an openin jarz so we juss hung it. turnez out great fer us. i wanna try an get sumthin goin on in my closet tho.Quote:

nice dealz. i wuz thinkin bout the closet last nite an i decided ta stay home frum skool 2day so i cood get er set up. went an got a few seedz frum my buddy this mornin an now they planted. i have more outdoor experience than indoor, so we'll c how it goez. i dunt kno the strain, but therez a few possibilitiez. i cood have gotten any ov the followin: purple indica, kali orange, m39, er sum alrite unknown stuff. i shood have gotten at least one ov the good onez an one crappy, at least i hope!. im juss happy ta have sumthin goin that i can check on eryday, unlike most previous growz ive had.

yea.hey,even if it aint the best strain its still bud and will still get u ripped jus might take a bit
