Question on if this is possible...
okay, so heres the situation....
im planning on growing for the first time in my life, i've been telling my self all winter i was gonna start growing, but i was never really serious about it..and although i would like to be, i still cant be because of restrictions.
There is no way i can grow indoors, its completely out of the question, and i have a tight schedule so i cant spend lots of time (lots of time being 1-2 hours a day) on my plants. I have about 11 seeds that ive been collecting since winter in my bud, and i was wondering if this would be possible...
i have a few non-heat locations found, i plan on planting a few seeds at each (3-4 at each spot), and going their once a day (twice if needed, just tell me its needed so i know) and watering them, im not putting lots of work into these plants because of my schedule. I'm just wondering...if i were to water them daily, until they sprout, and then continue watering, pruning, ect, in average outdoor soil(the stuff reguler grass grows in, lol)...will these grow(assuming the seeds arnt cruddy), and all together get atleast a half ounce yield? (its basicly free weed, so ill put the work in aslong as ill get a yield of a half ounce or more)
Question on if this is possible...
not too sure about yeild
thats a random thing if you dont know the strain but, if you actually try i dont see how i wont work
Question on if this is possible...
you wont know unless you try
personally i would germinate them seeds first then plant them out that will give them a kick start
do this in ya house somewhere out of sight
cheers all :)
Question on if this is possible...
yeah germa them and plant 1/2 inch 1 inch into ground early spring about 12/12 ish on sun/night treat your soil now with nitrus blood and bone meal ( should be done at least 1 month and lots water befor planting) good for out door nitro for groth get all the rocks out soil to
Question on if this is possible...
another few things that i was thinking was to plant them in compost that ive had for years...really nice stuff, and a question on watering....
my friend (whos an expert grower, but doesnt like to share any grow tips) told me if you completely soak the soil when you plant it, you dont have to worry about watering again for a week, unless theres draught. I think he may be lying as he never gives away any of his secrets (his bud is so good ive had incredible visuals on it, and he doesnt like to share anything on growing so people cant match him for potency).

Bulletz, peace man... :)
Just as a side-note: your friend is a dick.
Helping people is much better than not-helping people. What an asshole!
Even if he grows kick-ass buds, (which I believe you), he's still an asshole in my book. Give him this link, so he can see what I'm saying about him.
Yeah you... asshole!

In other news: The one week thing, he's a moron.
That's a waaaaay too general rule of thumb. There are many other factors that can determine if you'll water before, or after the week is up. Lights, temperatures, humidity, soil mix composition, size of the pot, etc.
Peace out Bulletz, and keep on sharing the knowledge,

Question on if this is possible...
yes i would use the compost that ya have if it is really good stuff this will help i would also get some perlite and mix 50% perlite and 50% compost mix it alltogether and use this i would take a hand spade and dig ya hole outside where eva ya are gonna do this and fill it with this mixture
then give them a good watering to help them settle in to there new home
i wouldent bother about proper soaking the soil if you are gonna be able to visit everyday and you only need to water every other day anyway
cheers all :)

Question on if this is possible...
lmao!
If you get a female or 2 with good diect sun light and they dont get fucked over by an old woman who throws cats at you then you should be able to get at least half Oz, but probably more. Although to do any of this you need to read, so you are pro before you start. Hopefully you can then prevent some things happening to your plant. Its still difficult to give a good idea of dry/wet weight of the bud... They could all be male, they could get down, they might not grow, they might bud, get 7 ounces on each plant and then go moldy during the night... then you'll be left with nothing, hopefully that wont happen lol, but its very easy to fuck up bigtime with this delcate wonderful herb.

ummmm
yes.. soak your soil the first time... actually every time... the less often you water the better.. but that means you need to drench the soil when you do water... this encourages the best kind of root growth

True that.... I'm with you there...
I'm just, thinking that there are many factors that will determine if you need to "water only once ever week". That's bullshit on the friend's part.
But I'd like to share::: I watered my plants incorrectly before... until I read a post by gK that said that you need to water by DRENCHING your pot. Every space inside the pot needs to be wet. Once I started following this technique, my plants got more perky, needed less watering (I mean, not as often), and I reduced the possibilities of fucking up with under/over watering shit.
Peace out gK,
