Uncomfortably High

Does this happen to any of you guys?

When i get too high, it becomes uncomfortable. I feel physically uncomfortable, get the spins, feel gross, and just want to lie down and wait for it to calm down a bit.

I seem to have an "ideal high" sort of area, and anything less is a waste, and just a little bit higher, and its just not enjoyable.

I read about people on here smoking 1/4's in one sitting, or smoking entire blunts and whatnot, or smoking more and more when they are already high, but i cant do this. Half of a joint, or 2-4 bong hits max (depending on the weed), and im set.

Is this unusual?

Nothing wrong with that, why would you want to smoke more? You will waste more money and put more stess on your lil lungs. Just take 1-2 rips and your high man. Thats what good herb is for. Relax

yeah, thats my point. I don't have a desire to smoke more. I just wonder if maybe a) i have a really low tolerance, or b)some people just keep smoking regardless of how it makes them feel just because the weed is there, or c) some people prefer being "fucked" rather than comfortable (like people who drink thier face off untill they puke, as opposed to just having a nice happy drunken buzz), etc. I have no idea

I can get myself fairly happily ripped with on 0.25g

yeah i get like that too, like for the first like 10 minutes after i smoke i'm super high and i don't really like that, i'm just completely confused and feel kinda retarded. haha :o

yeah too many bong hits definitly isnt much of an enjoyable high for me. i dont like being so high that like my head spins.

same, when i smoke too much i just wanna lay down. i'm good with .5g or less.

more stonedyness gives me better laughingkicks

i guess im an odd one, i kind of enjoy the spins while my eyes are closed. not the drunk spins, but the high one is nice

Well its all relative..I get high as fuck off 0.5 with two rips..I just take big hits. If you consider 0.1 a big hit, then thats cool for you..I just have bigger lungs

Yes, i have had this feeling.

Most people dont know this, but there is such a thing as being TOO high...

All it means is dont smoke so much.

Everyone has they're prefered high, and when you reach it, just put the joint out, no one saiy you have to keep smoking it (Which is what alot of people think)

Then again, i dont get that feeling anymore, i havnt been sober in 3 years

i have smoked an eighth in one sitting... and lemme tell you... esp with good weed the high is beyond unenjoyable. i fuckin hate being that high. its like you dont have control over yourself. i cant think, i cant talk, i have to lay down and let it pass. i was sooo high that in social studies class i raised my hand and asked why dont fat people overthrow governments. wtf?

Not everyone gets uncomfortably when they're extremely high. I love the act of smoking, weed is just so great, the way it tastes, smells, everything.

You can also get better highs if you are in a good set and setting.

If i smoke too much i tend to get sleepy and go to bed, which is a waste of a high in a way.

Thank you, this post made me feel a lot more at ease. I too hear all these stories about people smoking a 1/4 straight.. but for me, a 1/4 of hydro will last me 2 months. It's a combination of low tolerance and not liking to get fucked beyond knowing what's happening.

I agree. Theres no point in smoking more if your already high. Thats just abusing the herb.

Well not lately, the last time I smoked (Saturday) I smoked a whole FAT joint of some really good shit and I got the uncomfortable high feeling but I was smokin every day for 2 weeks so it didnt bother me. I just handled it and it was fun...try gettin high to the point where it's uncomfortable when your really sleepy and go in your room and turn the lights off, you'll start seein shit clearly, it's a trip :thumbsup:.

thats pretty much what i do
try and smoke as little as possible to get high
usually 2-3 rips.
This way you never spend much money and your lungs dont get tortured!

But after awhile then those 2-3 hits stop doing it for you, so then you increase your dose, but after a little while you need to smoke just a tid bit more. Then one night, after a few failed attempts to get real high then you say "fuck it!" and pack as many bowls as you wan't. Well thats what I did before, I packed atleast 6 bowls...or 12. I don't know after awhile I kept counting hits instead of bowls then I was like "Shit, I was supposed to count how many BOWLS, not hits!" and got confused, but I know it was atleast 6 bowls.

oh man, i love being blazed off my ass. but i dont over do it or anything. i just make each hit count. and yea, some of my friends(well, one of the actually) is so fucking annoying when we smoke, cuz he just wants to smoke more and more even when we pretty much cant get any higher.

Lol, same thing I do often but it's not with a bowl I smoke joints and blunts...mostly joints..usually when I take 2 to 3 hits they dont do much but I took like 7 hits (so much you could actually hear the shit sizzling) and I got blitz man lol, I felt like glue :D.

but my herb is a pleasure to smoke since it burns and tastes amazing

one time i fixed a joint to a gravity bong bowl, lit it and got it burning, then put it on the bottle and pulled it out, before i could react the whole joint had burned and it was a nice size joint .5+, and the bottle was filled with DENSE ass smoke that was like yellow, so i took it and coughed my ass off.

that was the highest ive ever been whilst smoking(excluding vapourizing) and i felt really good but fell asleep like 15 minutes later, a nice joint in one toke.

The only times it's happened to me were my first few times. Back then we smoked bad-quality hash (soapbar) mixed with tobacco.

Now I smoke (or smoked, I'm dry and without a supply these days :( ) the green weed pure with no problems. I can get royally shit-faced, and still feel great. I did notice some initial discomfort right after smoking a joint or from a pipe, but with a bong I've never felt anything like that.

But I'd still have to agree with earlier posters - just smoke until you feel content, then stop.

Hmmm, I bet that people who don't like to be 'too high' also smoke lower-quality weed. Some people say schwagg gives them headaches and shit, and I wouldn't be surprised if low quality bud induced bad highs after awhile.

I've never had so high that it's uncomfortable... but I've been uncomfortable while high because of the physical stone bringing out certain problems in my body like a pulled muscle or a sore area. I think if you're smoking so much that you get "uncomfortably high" then just don't smoke so much. Why complain about it insted?

i'm glad i'm not the only one. it's fun to get really baked sometimes but there is a limit. i can't even sleep it off either because i'll close my eyes and feel like my body is being jerked around.

wtf fools..2-5 bong hits? man iam only 15 years old and i need 4-5 bong SNAPS to get a good fade

The only time I was ever uncomfortably high was the first time I smoked. I felt like i had to concentrate on every muscle in my body to breathe, sucked ass. Other then that, which was some years back, it's been all chillin :stoned:

today fool, my friend thatjust started smokin recently blazed an 8th with 5 people, and fool was gone, and he just goes and yaks when were all chillin in my other friends room! it was like a good 2 meals that came out too man. HELLA YAK! so much watery barf and unchewn food everywhere. GROSS!!!

I puked at a party a week ago from smoking too much. I hadn't had anything to drink, just smoked a lot. My friends told me I was laying in my puke afterwards and they thought I was dying. It is all foggy to me. I would say that I was uncomfortably high.

Speaking of being comfortable, my dad told me he used to listen to Pink Floyd when he was young and stoned, so I began listening to Pink Floyd as well. When I listened to a song called comfortably numb it was incredible. It's the best song I've ever been stoned to.

The "uncomfortable" high is my regular high. Anything less, and I'm disappointed. Once again, we polished off two ounces in less than 24 hours. That's getting high...

i need a nice fat gram doobie to get me really high but when i was like 12-13 i used to take like 2or3 pipe tokes and get blitzed im rolling up a quarter doobie on 4:20 and doming it ill be sure to post pics

that's pretty funny :D & 6 bowls will do that to ya.. maybe you have a small bowl since you keep packin it?

try going to different locations.
that helps break the routine/ritual so your tolerance is not as high when you're at some place you haven't smoked at before. something i learned in psychology.. i'm guessing it works for weed too. :rasta:

I can usually only finish one normal sized bowl out of my bong or my pipe and am good to go. But as soon as Istart coming down I go again and hit it again to maintain the same highnesss and I can do it thhroughout the entire day. I have never had the weed itself make me feel uncomfortable no matter how high I was maybe the situation or the atmosphere i was in made me feel uncomfortable but the weeed itself is all good.

you other people that say you have to smoke or can smoke all this big amount of weed sounds like friends I had back in Highschool that bragged about how much beer they could drink before getting drunk, and Im like go ahead fool Id rather keep the tolerance low and spend a ton less money getting completly drunk hhahahhahhaha
