Do you/have you smoked with your kids?
I'm curious, as I smoke with my parents often....it was quite wierd, at first...but now it just happens and I don't think about it. It's pretty cool. I've bonded more with them since we started smoking together. I think we've learned more about eachother as people...instead of just a parent/child basis.
What is your perspective?
i kno u said itz a question fer parentz but i can relate ta wut yer sayin so i figured id post anywayz. i started smokin wit my step mom last yr. i dint kno she rlly wuz into bud at all till she started tellin me bout her bro who still smokin 2 this day. anywayz, it wuz a lil weird at first, smokin wit sum1 who wood normally b bootin yer ass if they knew. once we smoked a few timez we started talkin bout different thingz then usual. i rlly think smokin weed wit sum1 openz doorz cuz 2 me, smokin weed iz like a daily ritual, an my pot meanz alot 2 me so sharin that wut sum1 else iz a coo thing. also the effectz ov the bud make it easier an more interestin to conversate. thatz y i think eryone shood b gettin high. az bone thugz wood say "potent herbz an leavez cood ease the world"

dude i smoke a bowl almost everynight with my grandma( and shes contributed to over 500 bucks in weed so far) :D
hmmm as killer said i to cant realate to this topic,my dad smokes he knows i smoke personaly i think it would be weird smokeing with himand as he says i do need to get my school stuff straight befor smokeing wich is what in doing

ive had a jont with my dad once, but only once and it was cool, but kinda awkward, and my mum doesnt smoke weed.. she knows i do, and we have conversations about it all the time.. she uses to hate weed, everythin about it, because of what the media say about it, but now she accepts that its not bad at all, and since she smokes cigarettes, its no worse than that.. shes said now that shed prefer me smokin weed than bein an alcohol lol :) my mum rocks
even parentz who seem like they will never turn around to accept pot can b turned around. theyve all been fed bullshit info, so tell yer parentz the truth if u want em 2 b more understanding. i think smokin ciggz iz stupider then smokin weed (even tho i smoke ciggz too) becuz u smoke weed 2 feel relaxed an b social. now, smokin a cigg. makez me feel relaxed but not 2 the extent that pot duz. an they cause more health prbz then weed, despite wut the govt sayz(around 4,000 chemicalz in combusted tobacco smoke an 6,000 chemz in combusted weed smoke), i kno frum personal experience that, well maybe therez more chemz in weed but they dunt affect u az negatively az ciggarettez. i wood much rather my kidz smoke weed then ciggz that iz once i have kidz. but who knoz, im sure my oppinion may change by then.
There's as much tar/dirty shit in 5 joints as there is in a pack of cigarettes. Bongs/Vaporizers/Waterpipes reduce that.
I would have no problem with my kids smoking.... as long as they weren't stupid with how they were getting it, how they were transporting it, and with the people they toked with. I would even go as far as buying them a personal vaporizer....just so it's that much safer for them to use. I think marijuana can be the best thing in the world if it's used right. You can find out a lot about yourself and other people when you smoke.
Man... I wish I wasn't out X_X....shit is starting to cost too much.
My mum rolled my 1st joint 10 yr ago....it was the weirdest thing i done with her...but after a few sesh'es it was like normal....i miss thos days and all the food she would cook when we was stoned :D
BUT....
Now i have 3 kids of my own theres no way id smoke with them or be happy about them smoking...as 9 times outta 10 weed will lead most ppl to harder drugs which i sure do hope my children do not experience...call me a hippercrit or wot eva but thats my view.....i dont want my kids doing everything possiple to get cash to buy drugs ect...or be drop-outs @ skool or even have a shitty job....i guess only time will tell.

Marijuana does not lead to other drugs. People lead themselves to other drugs. If someone tries something, I assure you, marijuana isn't the reason.

Its true, people make the choice to try harder drugs. But marijuana can help also. Seeing as how you have friends who do drugs and you know dealers, it would be easy to get your hands on other stuff.

When im older im gonna let my kids smoke. Im gonna make sure they arent walking the streets smoking and that they are being responsible about it. But if their grades drop or they do something stupid, they are grounded and their stash becomes mine for a while. My opion on this will probally change though.
;) There's nothing wrong with anyone smokin, but i won't with my child until they are like 17 or 18 depending but at least if they want to once they graduate.. i would just treat it like any othe rdisciplinary matter, like hey stop eating cake in your bed late at night, weed doesn't amke me worry so much as anything like drinking..shit...when you are really high and in a bad situation you almost just about run the hell away, when you are drunk you just say, well at least i'm drunk so it's no that bad......It's jsut somethin else in this life that people nbeed tobe responsible with, like driving and no driving into a wall.lol word :)
My son is 17, 18 next November. I smoked with him for the first time only a coupla weeks back :)
He arrived home after a night out with his friends, I knew that look immediately :rolleyes:
My husband asked him had he been drinking :confused: which he denied, I'd just finished a joint bout
10minutes before he walked in and was well stoned :o
He caught my eye and we both just cracked up laughing :D
My husband went on up to bed muttering away to himself while we bust a gut in the kitchen for a few minutes :p
Then we sat down together and I rolled one. It was a nice night actually ;)
my parents are different. never smoked at all, even in college, not even cig's. real pain in the ass for me
The only family member i have ever smoked with is my brother and only once in my entire life, he picked me and 4 people up we got a 1/4 and rolled the fattest blunt i have seen in my whole life to this day, hotboxed for what seemed like 5 hours but was more like a hour 1/2.I will never forget his words on my first hit "toke tell you choke bro" and i did sooo stoned passed out in the backseat of his jeep all the way home. Then we got home and he said go to sleep you got school in the morning, i did and woke up just as stoned.

i havent smoked wit my parents but i think it would be akward. I was at my friends house and we rolled a blunt right in front of his mom and she didnt care i think it would have been fun to smoke wit her tho she was hillarous
Being a parent with grown children now, when they came home cheeched and I asked them if they were toking,and they were honest with me, I realized they had the maturity needed to take the responsibilty for their actions,and not the immaturity of trying to hide it when it was so obvious. My thought was if you're going to do it, then take a stand and tell me,why do something you have to hide,I never have.If that makes any sense.

o and i would definitlety blaze with my little fuckers.if and when i do have kids,and they get to the age all kids get to,like 12 13 w/e and i find out about them smokin,im gunna sit them down,and im gunna say,as long as u dont let it interfere with ur grades,ur relationships with friends,the law,or anything else,u may RESPONSIBLY toke.and im gunna tell them that the first time they fuck up with it,like grades go down cuz of smoking,jus like somebody else said before,they fuckin stash becomes mine.and i would give them a 10 dollar allowance a week to spend on cronic

i cant smoke with my mom because she is on parole.. but as soon as she gets off on '05 im going to be smoking with her every day.. but now since she knows a lot more pot heads than me she helps me find a buzz when im dry.. shes really cool about it.. shes been smoking for a long time though so i imagined it wouldnt bother her too much... she was weirded out about it at first but now shes come around. she said that she'd rather have me do it with her than behind her back, which i think is reasonable.
I have 3 kids and I'm waiting for the day that Lulu just described. My son won't be 17 for 9 years, though. :( The day my husband and I can toke up with ALL of our kids will be bliss. But, I'll wait until I think they're old enough, I guess 16, 17.Quote:
