How often do you get sick?

I used to get sick all the time, but since I started smoking every day (almost 2 years now) I have not gotten sick once. Recently my entire family came down with strep throat, except for the two people that happened to smoke. It's not like I tried to limit my contact with them or anything.

Coincidence I guess but it is kind of interesting.

but when i do get sick it seems like its bad.
i hate when my chest hurts that fucking sucks.

Guess I've got a pretty good immune system?

I never get bad sick, but I allways get some kind of crud once a year around flu season. I haven't been to the dr for being sick in like 6 years.

Since i started smoking everyday for the last 3 years i havnt been sick, or had colds at all, and everyone around me has.

The one time i did catch a chest infection and a cold, i smoked, and it went away the same day, didnt come back.

Hardly ever last time was new years even when i got too drunk but apart from that must of been years ago i cant really remember

I havent been sick in over 10 yrs and I smoke about 8 joints in a days time everyday.

I got sick a few times a year before I started smoking and I get sick a few times a year now.

Well, actually that's not the whole story. About 2 years ago I got mono really bad (i.e. throat closing up and throat hemorrhaging). The year after that was pretty bad.

I only get sick when I get REALLY nervous.

I haven't got sick since I stopped eating shit food like mcdonalds and pizza all the time. The junk food I stay clear off except when i treat myself occasionally. I eat cashew nuts, sunflower seeds, shit that's had nothing added to it. It makes me feel alot calmer and more content I can be more decisive and not panic over stupid shit like I used to. Diet is like the key factor in fighting off disease e.t.c e.t.c

I never get sick. Last time I puked from being sick was well over 5 years ago. I don't even remember.

ever since i started smoking i havent been sick, the only time ive been a bit sick is when i was really high and i ate a ton of food and woke up in the middle of the night and threwup all i ate, but thats it

So far everyone in my family who got strep throat has been perscribed anti-biotics. I was reading and aparently weed has anti-biotic properties?

Strep throat certainly seems to fall into that category. I figured placebo affect at best but whoa, maybe it really did make a difference!

I reckon if you don't share joints,you'll never get throat infection.
Am fighting one now and am so pissed because Its so sore to smoke a doob with a pineapple lining your throat.
Although I'm sure that Great Jah intended us to share,He also intended for folks to be honest about whether they are sick.
Its amazing how many buddies will toke and pass on germs without informing the supplier and roller of the doob about his current medical conditions. Esspecially buddies that are desperate for a smoke because their snotty-nosed little toddler is moaning at home and their wife is bitching becuase she feels a cold coming on,etc,etc.
It's no problem to give a sick dude his own little spliff,but he/she must just say that they are sick,right?
