Well it's time to get things ready here.
Here's where I'll be growing some Santa Maria.
I got 3 different kinds of soil today. The rest of what I'll be needing, I'll get next week. I'll be using 15 liter pots for growing this season and will be only growing 3 plants in the backyard this season.
looks nice dutchy. how come you are using pots when you got that nice raised bed? Is it because you want them out in the open to get more sun?
Cheers. I had to make a new bed for the strawberry plants first. It's an old strawberry patch. I usually grow in pots, but because of the weather, still abit cold. I put them outside in the day time and at night inside. Until it's okay to leave them outside on their own. But for now...Quote:

Anyways, here are the clones I'll be using, Santa Maria...
Is there any way to tell if the plant is a male or female before budding it?
It doesn't show sex until it nears 12 hours light/12 darkness... You can do it indoors with timers but you'll have to wait until late july if you are outdoors. July in the US anyways...
By the way I love your setup and I LOVE your COUNTRY... dutchy
i think everyone loves the country inlcuding most americans
Thanks earthy dank.
yo im growin in way in backyeard this year too, i live out in the stix so i got plenty of room, i got some miracle grow garden soil and about the same size pot for growing, do i just germ the seeds plant them and water them daily or do i need something else??
Ja Ja netjes hoor ziet er goed uit. Nu maar hopen dat de buren niet gaan klagen hahahaha buy the way I whas 20 minuts to early to take the train from there.
But everything normal here, keep coffee hot for me coming next week to you .
Cheers, I hope actually some nice mid-size plants, around 2 meters tall. Not like last season, 3-4 meters tall. But I'll see as time goes on. Anyways, I got some hydro-korrels. I'll using two pots with it and the third just with rocks and stones. Tomorrow, after I get back from the grow-shop. I'll get the plants in their pots this weekend...Quote:

I look forward to seeing the final product Dutchy. I wish you the best of luck.
P.S.--I was wondering if you could help me with a question I have. I am growing outdoors and for my soil mixture I used compost, miracle grow organic, blood and bone meal, epsonsalt, sand, chicken manure, and green sand. My question is whether or not this mixture will be too hot for my little seeds to handle. The average temperature in my area is mid to high 70's now and mid to low 90's in summer. Any help you give will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
nice wish i lived in amsterdam.
do people try steal other peoples plants?
Nice method your using. I'm using 3 gallon pales for my grow. I'll also be digging a hole for the 3 gallon pale.

I would like to take a guess on what the white things are on dutchys soil, that is if you dont mind dutchy.
I do believe its Vermiculite. Correct me if Im wrong.
Dutchy, they're looking great, and by the end of the summer I think you'll have achieved more 3-4 meter plants haha, I believe even more since you havent even fed them yet.
Goodluck mate, will stick around to see this go down.
Almost right, not vermiculite. But Perlite.Quote:

Started today with the fertilzer. Canna Terra Vega. It's a N.P.K. of 14-6-17. For a better root development. For now......
And Cheers Trivium on the greenhouse.
Looking very nice dutchy.
Kich ass grow. Very pretty plants bro.
Hey dutchy. I hate it when bad weather comes along, I have 4-5 plants outside and my other mate planted 4-5 of his 5 meters from my crop. I would most love to do an outdoor grow log but I have no digital camera.
Are you buying your products from a local grow shop or from a website, if your grow shop has a website and sends basic nutes, etc to canada I would much love too see it. Ill be watching this thread dutchy and be following in your footsteps, you're an amazing grower, non the less all your posts of the weed and hash you get, Im suprized you dont have lung cancer;):rasta:
Well it's been a week or so since I last posted.
Finally the weather has turned for the better.
For the last half week nothing but sun.
The plants aren't growing much in height, getting more bushy. Just manicured the plants of some leaves this afternoon. Here's how they're looking this evening.......
Don't know what happen to the pictures...
