my first experience with cactus

As you guys may know I did Peruvian Torch Cactus last night. IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME.

First of all...this shit....tasted....SO.............................. .......SO SO SO SO SO...............disgusting. It was so hard not to throw up after consuming it. I tried to do a 60gram dose, mix it with water, and down it...but it was torture. I got like half of it down....waited like 20 mins....i felt naucious and i went to the restroom and yacked it all. I was so pissed that i went thruogh all that, and ended up throwing it up, but the effects still hit me and hit me good.

My mind was racing, and it was so hard to focus on one task at a time without drifting off on a tangent. Me and my friend had a blast.....he was trippin balls since he almost consumed all of the 60 grams, and didnt throw it up. We walked to this park....where there were bunnies jumping all around us. Everything looked as if I was viewing things through a dream.

Im going to be doing it again on wednesday. Does anyone know of any way at all....to make the taste ANY bit better? I'll be taking a stomach reliever like pepto bismal or somethin so i dont end up yackin it again, but i wish there was jus some way to make it the slightest bit easier to consume. Anyone?

check at the local pharmacy....ask for over the counter nausea pills....they start with a "D" I think.

will it hurt the effects if you just like, douse the shit in sugar? ever made that agent-lemon extract? god if you think w/e the hell it is your drinking is bad, you should try that... (it's a dxm extraction method btw)

if nothing else, how about just like continuing to boil it down, til it's only like one moderate mouthful, the way i'd see it..

consistancy is this drugs downfall. i have 125g of peruv torch im not looking forward to eating. lol. looking forward to the trip, but not actually downing it. thats shit.

hmm.. then perhaps parachute it? that's where you take a single ply of toilet paper, put a pile of w/e powder you wish to consume orally in the middle, then gently twist the corners together, rip off the excess and swallow as you would a pill, it is toilet paper, soo it's not going to last long, especially immersed in liquid, so get that shit down as fast as you can.

remember, the ball you are taking can't be any bigger then you can swallow, if there's alot of powder to consume, then you can put it in multiple 'parachutes'

id say get some lemon juice concentrate. mix with a warm cup of water and add a bunch of sugar or honey then add the shit in and chug it in 2 or 3 gulps followed by a chaser of some sort so u dont have the aftertaste.

Mix anything sweet into it, honey, sugar, lemon, OJ.... all the things that have been said above... Then just try and down it and dont think about it... Then you shouldnt feel sick... if you do feel sick just take some pills or whatever stops you feeling sick... just try and not be sick... cos you'll trip so much more lol....

lol, it would be like 50 parachutes for 50g prolly. oh well, still easier then downing it as sludge or powder. its alot alot of powder. i would extract the mesc into a tea but that sounds more like an art form then a fucking drug extraction. oh well.

My method: go to local herbal shop and buy the largest EMPTY veggie caps they have, if they have none get the cheapest herbal supplement they have. Make sure they are capsules. If you had to buy a supplement you will need to empty them first, duh, mix incense with ginger, 15:1 ratio. Fill gelcaps....enjoy. I also blow off excess dust with some canned air used to clean electronics, this eliminates any trace amounts on capsules.

thats still alotta pills. but yeah i guess that's a good tactic. i think i'll do that. thanks.

i used the gelcap method. ate a full ounce, made about 75 capsules. and i fucking TRIPPED BALLS. have a great time.

Hi all! Hope everyone has had a good weekend! I was wondering if anyone knew where I coudl get some good info on this cactus powder stuff.. or in anyone had any info to share regarding it..like is there bad side effects, how I would do it, how much, etc... I just want to get as many facts as I can on it from a reliable source. As for the taste thing, someone told me penut butter; but I don't know how I wanna try it cuz I have a really weak stomach. Thanks!

Also..I would like to know how much we should try at first in order to getjust a milder affect at first - if thats possible lol

I'd try 20-25 g to start with if you've never tripped. 15 grams will get you threshold effects, whereas 50-60g will get you trippin like a motherfucker.

no problem! i took it out of the vaccuum sealed packaging and put it into a mason jar, and when i was doing so i tasted a little bit, and yeahh.... its as bad as they say. i was thinking that it was probably like shrooms, where people say how much they taste like shit and then i eat some and love the taste. i'm gonna try to come up with something using milk and lemon juice. something acidic should counteract the bitterness, and the milk should mask it a little more.

no matter what form it ends up in, i'm only making one nasty ass psychedlic concoction, so i'm chugging it and smoking lots of weed to keep the naseau down. and a couple of those new type of motion sickness pills (not dramamine, something newer)

I've never heard of Torch Cactus before. Can anyone explain to me what it is the effect ect.? it sounds quite intresting. Its a natural drug i take it?

and btw yeah, try taking something else to stop you throwing up before you drink it next time.

yeah i agree better just to smoke some cannabis when you start feeling nauseas, that has worked wonders for me.

Peruvian torch is better known as San Pedro, it's a naturally ocurring cactus in Peru and other S. American countries. Look on erowid.org for Trichocereus pachanoi or T. peruvianus (aka peruvian torch). You'll find it there under San Pedro under plants. You can get it from ebay too.

To help with the taste I have mixed it with orange juice, it's not too bad. Of course, the higher the dose the more OJ you need, so it's not a perfect method. Try NOT to mix it with food, since you don't want to have much in your stomache at the time, if you wanna prevent throwing up.

Good luck to everyone in their experiences with this wonderful teacher plant!!! Don't be nervous, it's one of the most rewarding experiences you can have in life, you'll see what I mean when you feel how psychologically healthy it is :)
