okay so im grounded for a while, because i got caught with weed and want to sneak out tonight. The problem is that we have an alarm, which ik the code to but makes a loud noise when u turn it on/off. The windows have thses magnetic sensors on them, but theyr on the screens in the window. So i was wondering if anyone knew a good way to mess with the sensor so that it doesnt recognize the window as being open? or any other ideas....thanx

I seen this thing in a film once with the magnetic strips put a knife between it so that the sensor's think its still connected to the windows then open the window and get out see if it works
How about stay home, and not try to sneak out which will result in you obviously getting caught by your parents, and problay fucking up the alarm, and or getting arrested for what you are going to do if you get out. This way you will develop a little thing called trust, and then your parents won't bother you as much.Quote:

take the sensors off the window and keep them connected and place it in your drawer somewhere
Dude yes, I beleive there is a method. Find another magnet somewhere in ur house and as you open the window slide the new magnet onto the fixed one and your free. Id suggest testing it out before you actually go for it.

dude i did the exact same thing. got busted for weed, got grounded, wanted to go to a party, got past the alarm, snuck out a few times, and got caught the last time i did it. it totally fucked up my relationship with my parents. they kicked me out of the house for it. its really not worth it to go to some party. but if you do get out have fun. try to make it worth it if you get caught

uummmmm, mybe you should'nt try sneaking out? obvoiusly your gonna get caught and mybe the reason those things on are your windows on the first place is because you convinced them they need to be there. You would'nt be here in the first place if u cud gain ur parents trust.

Damn your parents have you on lockdown......they obviously already dont trust you so if you wanna seem even worse in they're eyes you could try putting a mirror on the sensor or something.

Keep a window or door open that they wouldn't normally bother to check. Put a shoe in it or something. Don't try messing with magnets. Once the alarm goes off, even by accident, they are going to know something's up. Good luck and have fun. :)
How about you do your time, maybe get off early for good behavior. Theres nothing worse than getting caught doing dumbshit when you're already in trouble. Earn some trust back from your parents. Cover your ass better in the future so you don't get caught again.

open it and leave it open. we had a very very old security system. i used to put a piece of aluminum foil over the little sensor block.
I say just wait untill you not grounded, they will most likely notice that your
gone and things will just get worse.
Keep a window open. If it is already open before the alarm is set than it will not beep or whatever when you open it.
stay at home an learn your lesson as you should, you obviously fucked up once, so there is nothing to say you wont fuck up right good tonight. Its called punishment for a reason ;). learn from your mistakes, and roll on.

It may be too late but I suggest your escape is not a good idea.
Go in the basement and find the main control box,it's usually white... open it and disconnect the wires to the battery,it looks like a motorcycle battery... then look for a black transformer plugged into a outlet close by and unplug it...
Then for good measure unplug a phone line if there is one...
