Mushie F*K up!!!!

Check this shit out and tell me what I did wrong.

I grow y own mushies. :thumbsup: The firs batch came out OK and I fired a couple times eating them fresh and raw. Taste great! The I made a tea a couple days later. I brought the water to a small boil, turned it off, and three bout a 1/8 to half 1/8, through them in and let it for a minute or two before bottling while it was still warm. Just to test it I had exactly 24oz. (2 shots). It was a mild fry but I think it was the shrooms. God visual. Lasted maybe ... 5-6 hrs. good times.

So then this next time I tried different approach. Bout 1cup worth of warm water & ad a full once I blended them in my blender. I added another cup and a half and brought it to a boil, then dumped in the blended material. A black dark green color started to bubble. I turned down the heat to low and let it simmer for like 5min. Your guys are going to believe this, but after straining I drank the inter liquid and at all the left over much and didn't fry not even little it!!

My assumption is that I ruined the DMT, or whatever chemical you need to hallucinate with, with the to much heat. I've made tea because but not like this, I used a coffee maker. Worked great -- worst/best fry of my life.

Can someone explain to me what could have went wrong and what I would do next time to prevent the destruction of a prefect good batch of liberty caps??? Ideas, techniques? anything would be greatly appreciated!!

I don't know much about the chemical structure of shrooms, but I would imagine boiling it for 5 mins. would break down the hallucinogenic compunds, which are usually large and fragile molocules. I don't know for sure though...

First of all, the psychoactive chemical found in shrooms is Psilocybin... not DMT... second of all, psilocybin gets destryed when exposed to extremly hot temperatures...

So what should you do to mske a tea? Water+Shrroms-Fridg??? There itnt any other wake the tea.

alhough, I did one stik a l/2 eigth in the offe making nd mde me a pot of tea that way ... Ive ever frid so hard in my life!!!

Heat breaks down psilocybin. Ascorbic acids extracts psilocybin.
This is how I make tea: Grind mushrooms in a coffee grinder. open two tea bags (I like the Lipton herbal tea) add ground mushies and staple back closed. I also like to soak the refilled tea bags in lemmon juice (aids in extraction). Bring two cups of water to a boil. Pour into a cup and steep mushroom tea bags for 5 min.
If you soak in lemon juice add that.
If you empty the tea and just use mushrooms in the tea bag, you will get a really cool blue tea.
This works great, comes on fast, but IME, it doesn't last as long as just eating the mushrooms (That really is the best way).

Back I the day I used to make some really potent tea -- I'm talking 2 shots and the whole world looked like you where looking through a pixel tub (remember those things when u where a kid). I used a coffee maker, but I cant remember if I ground, dried, used whole, or what kind of mushies ithey where at the time. I was going to make some more and sell it at 10.00 a 60lm bottle = 2 shots. lol. then again it was the shrooms too. Mine could be way less potent then the ones I had back then.

Anyhow, I was reading of this Chinese tea method where they all sit down sift, pour warm water over the shrooms, drink a cup -- they do this 3 times ... something like 30= 60=120, I have no clue. lol.

What I think I'm going to do I chop up this next batch and use the old coffee maker.

Also, are you saying crush the shrooms, soak them AA and lemon juice for better extraction? You through me off right there. Soak themseperatlly or together?

I just made my first bacth iof tea- well not my first, ive made it before - but first batch of todays tea. I used a coffee grinder and cofee maker. Last time I Made them like this (using whole shroos though) my vision was as if I was looking through a pikel stick (you know what of those little tubes you play ith as a kid that makes all the colors and patterns). I just drank My first 24oz (to start off with) of the batch now so I have some fun ahead of me a I hope. I dont know how it will react wit the 60mg oxy I took this morning along with the 10mg klonopin (banana) and 2mf xanax (stick). Sometimes when you take to much stuff you fuck up your high.

Its been about 20min zsunce i drank it so it should be kickig in now. I'll be bacl later to tell yall if my tea making abilities are up to par. mean while ... how do you make your teas??

I grind mine up, put it in a coffee filter and rubber band it shut and let it simmer in tea for 30-40 mins while agitating the shroom bag every few mins, repeat this 3 times and on the last soak press the bag with a spoon to get the last of teh goodies out. Then i usually put it in a pitcher and add kool aid

BTW i usually use a half ounce - ounce at a time so im not sure if my method applies to smaller amounts

This method usually takes all the taste out of the shrooms so i just slurp the slimy suckers down as well

How much time is passing between these attempts? Tolerance builds pretty quickly. Also benzos kill a trip to some degree, best to save them for the comedown.

Vey true - i do it ever couple days. But I'm on im my last flush. Your Right Though.

You should go to a herbal products store and by empty pill capsules. then grind them up in a coffe grinder like you did, and pack them babies! the #100 caps can hold up to a gram! Easy dosing. Soul meets body bro. have a good trip.

I like eating mine wet for some reason ... freshly picked. Anyone know if they're a difference in high between dried and fresh picked mushroom. Seems like it would be likt any other veggie.

^^^A different ratio of psilocybin to psilocin, maybe? Just thinking out loud, I don't know if that happens or not, sorta seems like it could.

I recently bought some of those mushies seen on "Alice & Wonderland;" you know the once Mr. Catapiler was token on? I have an once of them. I'm going to grind them up and soak them in ascorbic acid for a while. Jack, I hope your right bout this buddy.
