Im a senior in high school and im living with my parents. I have about 7 seeds from some mids that i bought a couple weeks ago that i want to plant, but i cant think of anywhere to grow. And all of the research im doing is showing how delicate, complex, and involving growing can be.
Is there any hope for me to even try, w/o buying fans and lights and all these other supplies? The more i read, the more hopeless it seems.

Eh, I'm in the same situation, except i just got a new kitchen addition put on, and a very large crawl space. So i crawled back as far as it went, where it forutnately opened up more as well, and i built a box, wired it with an extension cord disguised from my basement, and i'm ready to rock n roll! Trust me, if you look long enough in your crib, you will find somewhere to grow, whether it be a plant or 20 of em, don't give up!
look do exactly what im doing...but get more lights....its so easy honestly....i hid the extension cord behind the box and shoes.....the slippers fit on top to hide the light that comes out....i keep a cup of water right next to it.....just turn the light on when u wake up and turn it off when u sleep....easy

Never really got into trouble for plants -- my parents considered it petty.
My parents let me, but it took a helluva lot of persuading. My main argument was (they already know the benefits of it, and that the government throw a lot of bullshit around)
I wouldnt have to deal with any dodgy dealers (even though mine arent really that dodgy)
it gives me more money to spend on video games, new TV etc etc
I paid for the light and everything else - even chuck in some £££ for electric!

I CAN handle it, enen if I have a supply of it 'on tap' I can still limit myself to a few joints a week (although when I go bed its time to smoke up!)

The answer is Lowryder. Also, as a result of growing Herb, Im now getting into gardening and organic food, so Im gonna grow my own veg patch in the garden this summer. A few yams, a few potatoes, some tomatoes, lettuce, onions...
To piggyback off of all the wisdom being offered. Don't get your parent caught up in your potentially felonious activities. Get your own place then grow your own bud, either that or ask the parental units if you can grow in their house if they give you explicit permission to do so, then do what you do.
Yeap... growing at your parents ain't a good idea... not if they don't know.
Besides, people on these forums will evade your questions if your grow is under those circumstances...

thanks for all the advice. I live in a pretty big house, but my privacy is slim. My mom likes to search my room... when shes bored. Shes gone in my closet and found some bottles of liquor i had.
I would wait until i got my own place, but im going off to college spring, and i already know my roommate wont be cool with it. So i guess ill just search around my house and see if i can find a place. thanks again.
Got any friends with their own place who would be willing to let you utilize their place? If not, an outdoor guerilla grow would be safest.
If your mother is a nazi I would avoid it. If you can smoke a joint in front of her you may be able to talk her into it. Its not worth the attitude she will give you the rest of your life. I say outdoor aswell.
well i found only 1 place in my entire house (3 stories..) which i dont think my mom would notice. Its in a crawlspace, but its in a concealed corner. i think i could pull off making a box grower like chaos, but the only issue i have now is getting electricity to it without it being obvious. Also theres pink insulation all around, so it might be a fire hazard.. :/
i would grow outside, but my backyard is the lake, and anywhere outside of my cul de sac is a frequented road.
It's their house, if you know about the space they do also! Why risk it? Your not only putting your relationship with your folks on the line but their home also if there happened to be a raid.Quote:

It is not as good as growing but why dont you just buy in bulk and sell so you end up with free nugs? Try to get your parents into growing by growing legal stuff and show them it is important to you, just a thought

you need to talk with them about that.. Don't fight about it but confront them.. you probably will loose the fight but if you stay calm and be nice no matter what.. and end the conversation with a hug.. your parents will probably respect you and stop searching..

P.S. Remember it is a weed that giving the right condition will bloom with no input from you.
if you can conquer masking the small completely and your mom doesnt go through your room then its possible. my suggestion in to grow outddors. try your backyard. also do you have any wooded areas, sumps, swamps, farms by your house? around my town theres about 3 sumps/foresty areas close to my house. through highschool this was a great grow spot for me and a buddy of mine. actually im thinkin about growin there again this summer.
