good,..but not so good. Life is great and all, but right now I am coming off of my last high, and it is a very sad thing..:( I miss AK..it was so much easier there because everyone smokes. And here its different.
Specially when you dont have any solid connections. I really have no connections now, so I am basically quitting against my will. Lame huh.

No. You are wrong. Everyone smokes here. It's just that we are paranoid and cautious. Take me for example... "let's say I am a serious hook up"... I still wouldn't help you out because you could be a PO or something and I'm not risking my ass.
Basically in Spokane it works like this: If you know someone who smokes, beg like a mother to get to their hookup. Ask close friends... they'll help. Never know what could happen in the land of magic we fondly call Spokompton.

It seems that you just have to know the right people in this town to find anything, but in the browns addition and peaceful valley area, virutally everyone on every block smokes, and some of my friends have met dealers just by sharing the same apartment complex as them and being good neighbors, making things rather easy and convienent.

I think it's all in who you know around hear..

Yeah, you are right, you do have to know people. And for all of you out there saying that Spokane is dry... look again because we are one of the greenest cities in Washington. Everyone smokes here.

I kinda thought this was the medical MJ area of the forum..? At least, I got here through the Medical part of the Forum. Oh well..! WA State Law says you can get your meds anywhere you need to: including street dealers and LEO can't touch you...unless your dumb enough to spark up in the car..! I'd never buy off the street though. You never know what you're getting off the street and street weed is rarely flushed properly and never cured right.

Hokopunk, are you sure we can just buy cannabis of the streets? I know we can posses it, however I thought the cannabis needed to be donated. I think if we are caught buying we can get into trouble. I heard your grower is supposed to give you marijuana, not sell, correct? I would think its same for black market. Please correct me if I am wrong :)

the law states that u can acquire your meds threw any means,street,grow,whatever.
bottom line is if your a prick to a cop that questioning you ,he can and probally will fuck with you because he can.thats just my own experiences

Yeah upon moving here it took months to find a contact. I still haven't found anything as aaamazing as everyone seems to claim it is. Nearly everyone smokes, & everyone I come across loves to profess how Washington has the best, but I haven't found it. And It makes me miss florida!!! :(

It is great here... if you can find it. It is been really dry lately. They've stopped a lot of what comes in from B.C. I'd make a friend that lives in Portland or something. Go visit them every now and then. Make sure you seal your bag good, use only one bag, and it wouldn't hurt to get one of those diver containers to put it in.... shits smelly when it comes from the coast.

You can get medical authorization for any chronic pain or debilitating illness. Oh yeah, this card allows a person to grow as many as 15 plants (at any stage) and have up to 24 OZ of usable marijuana in their possession.

There are several dispenseries here in town too if you can get that card. :thumbsup:

Definitions

(a) Is eighteen years of age or older;

(b) Has been designated in writing by a patient to serve as a designated provider under this chapter;

(c) Is prohibited from consuming marijuana obtained for the personal, medical use of the patient for whom the individual is acting as designated provider; and

(d) Is the designated provider to only one patient at any one time.

I feel your statements quoted above would have a hard time, qualifying your collation of individuals as a designated provider.
At least a legal one.

ALSO, there is no STATE MMJ CARD in Washington at this time!!!

I have lived in Spokane forever and not once have I been out of weed the place isn't dry its actually pretty well stocked in the MJ department, just give it some time smoke with some friends and then when your all stoned just causally ask where they got the stuff from! that easy man you are probably going to have to get the street stuff for a little depending on who your friends know. Another Spokanite here as well..... there are LOTS of us you just have to look closer lol Since this is an old posting for any newbies..If you have a medical card try meeting new buds thru one of the local dispensaries. One I visit has member get togethers once a week. :rastasmoke:
