Would you rather drive drunk or high?

Someone told me they feel safer driving drunk, but he drinks and doesnt smoke so i dunno... I feel i`m a safer a driver when i`m high... what about you guys?

I seriously can turn and stop alright even when i`m baked...I`ll be laughing and stuff but something in my mind tells me to focus just enough to drive lol...
Driving drunk, i wont even be able to remember where i`m going and i will be a maniac i believe.... PLus i miss a lot of stop signs at night when i`m drunk..

What about you guys? Do you feel safer driving high? or Drunk?

this is a silly post...but...

driving stoned is safer than driving drunk. don't let the goverment tell you otherwise...

when i'm drunk my reaction time is shite. utter shite. so why would i want to drive? sure, i can make it home, but that's not the point - it's when those situations arise, the ones where you need to have your wits about you, that makes driving drunk a terrible idea. say that guy in the red truck doesn't check his blind spot and merges into you...if you're drunk your reaction time is going to be severely slower, you probably won't swerve out of the way quick enough. and that also depends on how drunk you are...if you are smashed, don't fucking drive.

stoned, i feel like i'm more alert...because i'm paranoid to some sense. also it's more fun...like a video game :)

yeah I would feel more capable of driving when driving high....
although it really depends how drrunk or how high....

I can never find my house when driving high. It sucks.

I cant drive......but i would drive more readily if i had had one spliff than one pint.....but i would be damn careful

i drive like a champ stoned. sure, back in the day when i was a more inexperienced driver i did some dumb stuff baked as hell late at night, like run red lights when nobody was around. but now i don't even really notice a difference. i just drive, you know. if i'm drunk though i'm all like AHH driving WHOO! and do stupid shit

i drove in opposing traffic high for about 10 seconds and didint notice (good thing the cars were over 100 feet away) with my friends to get to wendys
i cant drive high for shit (unless im comming down/almost sober).. never tried driving drunk

High, duh! Being high doesn't really affect your motor skills or reaction time.

It depends on what kind of high it is.

I found I drive pretty great high, just need to pick up speed sometimes.
I like to drive, it just lets me really get a feel for it all. :stoned:

agreed. even if cannabis ever became legal, driving high should still be illegal. Theres alot of different highs, there are different intensities, and there are different people.

Besides, who wants a bunch of stoners driving 15 under speed limit making you late for work every day? (well i live in south carolina, so people drive that slow already..)

HIGH! i love driving high especially on long road trips! as for drinking and driving its not to bad but the chances of getting caught are so much greater its not worth it! you should have made this a poll!

i like being in cars high whether im driving or otherwise. it is like you are inside and outside at the same time. plus you get the music going. god its great. and as far as safety goes id definitely rather drive high than drunk

drunk driving is bad news. i used to drink and drive on back roads, the drunker i got, the faster i went. I'm amazed i never wrecked. i think about it now and its so stupid to do. driving high on the other hand, i loved to do on the back roads in the summer.. ...roll down the windows, turn up the music and cruise through the hills!!

See I don't drink much and I smoke everyday and i would rather be pulled over when drunk because when i'm drunk I don't get nervous and I act real smooth(even around cops) but if i'm high I will be completely noided out and it will be so obvious... but as for driving skill, I would rather be high than drunk.

i would much rather drive high than drunk. When I drive high, i KNOW im taking a chance by driving, so i drive 10x as careful as i would sober. I can actually probably drive much better stoned than when im normal.

I still think that even if cannabis is legalized, driving high should be illegal. I know that i can drive fine high, but i dont think everyone can.

I think we should stop giving every idiot their own steel box to zoom around our cities in. We should start building fast, efficient public transportation systems to render the automobile obsolete. Then we won't have to worry about that crap. People are going to get fucked up and drive no matter how strict the rules are.

and I was way too aggressive

as for being high
I have drove high
hundreds and hundreds of times
I dont even think about that I am driving high
I am just driving
it is just second nature
just the music is louder
when I am stoned

Well, if you are absolutely forced to drive,rather do it smoked up.I know booze is more socailly acceptable,but ones senses are dulled and with doob,ones sense are heightened.
Ive known many good folks that have had fatal accidents on alcohol and the only doob smokers I've known to be in serious accidents were 2 dudes,one was a pedestrian hit by drunk muthaf****er on a motorbike and the other had a load of building stone drop on him.

I like driving while high...I tend to pay more attention for some reason.

Also, during a good snow storm, driving stoned makes you feel like you're in star wars, or something, lol!

Well I hate to admit it but I have done both & I can say that if I had to drive I would rather be high.

With that being said I would not recommend it to anyone. Like someone else said if the pizza man can deliver to you, keep it at the house where it is safe.

when im high i play video games and listen to music, then i walk to wherever i am going, because ... wouldnt you rather be outside enjoying the weather and realy putting that high to good use. dont waste it. enjoy it. and yeah , driving high is np , but if you get pulled over with that shit your only fucking it up for the rest of us. dont give herb bad rep by doing shit that gets you cought. park your car use your feet.

When stoned you feel a slight paranoia about being caught so you abide completly to all road laws. When drunk you just dont give a fuck and you'r reaction times are very very slow compared with cannabis. When smoking cannabis and carrying out something as important as driving you can concentrate alot harder, sadly the same annot be said for drunk drivers and this is why they kill so many people. I would choose stoned driving over drunk. I dont wanna be no murderer... Well, not im my car anyways.

i prefer to be a passenger, never drove high. i love driving soober though. did drive drunk sometimes late at night. but my house is very near to where i go to drink and party, just 3 or 4 km away

this is a stupid thread dont think anyones going to say drunk because when you are drunk you cant control yourself or if your really bad you cant remember what happens.

it not as bad with weed as weed is only a mild drug. but it depends if you meant really badly high or really badly drunk.

But i would say high anyway because at least you know what your doing.
