What is your reason, what did you start smoking weed in the first place, my reason is because loads of people i knew started doing and i wanted to know what the big deal was about so i tried it
I already smoke cigarettes so it didnt see it as a big deal. Now i just take the tobbaco out of the cigarettes and put them into joints :D
I was into drinking pretty heavily but hated the hangover my friend suggested I start smoking weed instead. Needless to say I did. But not for a few months. The final thing was that my OCD was really bad back then and I heard it made music sound different so I started smoking.
I started smoking weed so I could move to vegas in time to vote in November 2006 to legalize 1 oz for adults 21 and over.

I first started because of an ex-boyfriend, he smoked with his friends and I hated it! I was always being left out because I thought smoking was bad- One day I just said wtf and tried it, It just made me sleepy and that's about it. I tried again and again and after a few times i loved it.
i wanted to expirence it.
A few of my friends smoked back in high school and I played sports, so I never tried it cause I didn't want to put that shit in my lungs. They would always try to get me to, but I didn't.
Then I came to college.. started hanging out with a new group my sophomore year. Finally took my first toke, loved it. Got high.. loved it. So now I'm a stoner. :thumbsup:

It kinda came out of nowhere, the first time I smoked. I never planned on it or anything. I walked back into the woods and a friend of mine was smoking for the first time with this older kid we knew, and I started smoking with them.
Who knows, maybe I wouldn't even be a pothead if it weren't for that day.
I read something about it in the news and that piqued my curiosity... soo i asked around, bought an eigth with a friend...smoked a joint between the 2 of us and rode home listening to some trance music with a good system...i was bucking flitzed that day.
im glad to say that peer pressure had NOTHING to do with me tokin...so all those anti drug bitches can shove that up there a-holes!

I started smoking because it was put here for me and everbody else in the world and I didnt want somebody else smoking my shit :)!
I used to be really anti pot and I was against it
my best friend was a HUGE pothead and kept begging me to try it, and I hated it when I did
round 2 same person, still hated it
then I met my bf who was a former stoner, and my ex roomate, who was another huge pothead, well one day all of us went out of town, and we crashed at a friends house, she was having a party, and another one of my friends were there, and he had never tried, so me him and my bf agreed we were all going to try it together
I had the greatest time of my life that night, so I liked it, but didn't plan on doing it again
but then one night me and one of my friends ran into this guy who turned out to be a dealer, and I wanted to smoke so we all went back and smoked at his house
he had awesome weed, I was high for almost a whole day (we smoked a shitload of weed that day), and this all happened at like 6am after one long night
that was the night I really got to know mary jane!

So all the jcks and chearleaders started talking to me n fer friends
Now I sit at the COOL lunch table and I smoke cigs in the bathroom and bearly ever get cauht lol

well id heard about it on tv and at school and just really wanted to try it! i had just started drinking and thought if its illegal it must be better than alcohol, and since i already started smoking cigs i figured why not! my friend called his friend and hooked us up with a nickel bag of schwag. we pulled the seeds out made a pipe out of a can and lite it up! i didnt get very stoned but i loved the taste and just really enjoyed the experience! it was years later when i really became a stoner!:D

I started because my father and mother were smoking, I had acces to it so I bought a baggie on my 13th b-day, and it just started from there.
well me and my fried used to steal my moms ciggarettes lol and smoke a few times in a week cause we thought it was cool, so we said, fuck it.... what can it do?? so we bought a packed dime bag with like 2 grams in it, got it from my bros best friend. the next day we smoked it and rlly didnt fell anything (it was cheap shit) lol so we said fuck it, lets get some good shit. the next day i bought another dime bag, this time whit some silver haze, we were hooked after that sliff. me and him would chip in for weed all the time, now we are getting ounces from my friend whos got a farm upstate, and we sell it.... hes got super skunk, some morning kush, and some big buds....
we were going to a concert and my friend was like "hey man we should get some bud" and i was like "dude alright heres $5" and we smoked a joint and i didn't really get high but i liked the taste and smell and my friends who had smoked before were seemed to be having a good time so i bought a sack for myself within a few days and i've loved it ever since
i did it so that i could be cool and fit in.

I smoked a few times in High School and went to college for baseball, but, decided to not play. I smoked Herb everyday and made the Dean's list, something I never even tried for (or achieved) in High School.
all my mates at school were dealing it,.. tried to avoid it... until the dorkiest guy around came to me with a bag of ses and asked if i could roll him one. i asked him "why do u think i'll do it",
he said cos "i had brown skin.."
i thought f**k it, so rolled a loose joint and sat and got high before going into a science class.
cuz it mixed well with the shrooms and lsd :D
I started for stress thinking it would work, it does by taking my mind off of the shit but in the process it got a little addicting lol.
It was a bunch of things that got me into it; the news saying how bad it was, school and teachers telling me it was bad, how much fun everyone who was doing it seemed to be and one of my friends who finnaly got me stoned. I loved my first time I wish I could get that at least once more, its never felt like it did the first time I did it.
Me and my buddy both got invited to try it by our friend and his older brother who was a veteran stoner, so we smoked in their garage one night, I think we used some crappy wooden pipe, but I definately got high my first time.
