Dear All Experts,
I have just got some seed from Nirvana, they are great! May I ask how long can I keep the seed & in what kind of condition as I do not have time recently to find a place to grow as I live in the city!

They can be stored for years if they do not get excess heat or moisture. I geminated after 3 years successfully
store in a cool dry place and that should keep them without any probs :)
Would being in a plastic bag in a crown royal bag in the back of a wooden drawer help them survive for a few more years? Lol, not really a "cool" place but it isnt hot either.Quote:

My were always in plastic jewlery bags and where in the frig for a while. The frig will keep them longer no doubt. I think 45 degrees is ideal but I would have to do more reading.
To store seeds for a long period of time you should add some grains of dry rice with your seeds. The rice will absorbe the moisture so the seeds don't.

critter ate sprouts:eek: i did a seed search and found two old baggys one 5 seed, the other seed and a bud w/seed... so doin a sprouting n th paper towel... i m vapn the dry bud... nnot bad, sativa... the baggys were n a basket n the closet... at least two or more yrs. old... interested 2 c if they germinate...Quote:
