salvia advice

Hey guys, im interested in smokin salvia for the first time, theres a headshop down the street that sells it.

I know there have been threads about salvia before but....

What is the 20x, 80x, 0x...shit? What is the x? What is the strongest? What do you recommend for a first timer (kinda nervous about having a bad trip but i want to feel some GOOD effects). Ive tried shrooms, is the experience anything like that? How much is it usually per gram? How many grams should i get for me and a few other people? How much should i take? Any advice will do, thanks

X mean how many times stronger it is than the unextracted active ingredient in the leaves. What you are smoking would be a black power that smells like Robotussin. Depending on how many "x" it is determines the potency of the drug, for example 5x is weak compared to 20x (which i did) and will fuck you up. 1 gram of this powder that comes in a vile, its not really powder it just looks like and you can smoke it out of a bowl, is usually around $40/gram at a headshop. I CANNOT EMPHASIZE THIS ENOUGH, SALVIA DIVINORUM IS NOT A PARTY DRUG it is to be used in a calm environment or you will regret it.

im down to do 20x but would anyone not recommend this for a first timer?

no thats not too much thats what i did my first time through a pipe lol the shit is strong it makes your whole body feel weird and can make you hallucinate looked like my room was getting longer and longer was soo mad i definately reckon you should do it!

tyte, i already called up the homies and they are down so i cant wait, ima get the 20x shit then......would 1 gram be enough for 3 people? if not how much should i get for 3 people?

I have experienced the purple sticky salvia 5x
use a med to large water pipe
clean bowl/ fresh screen
read a book or listen to enlighten music
sound off
meditate 10 ~ mins
Then smoke
hold in as long as you can
breath out slowly
This is important here!
If you are stuck on a negative idea or are angered even after relaxing
you should not smoke ,save the Salvia for another day!

get the 20x and take as big a hit as your lungs permit
dont worry about whats gonna happen.
just go balls out and do a big ass hit

out of a gram of 20x youll get like ten hits.
take a big rip and hold forever.

Infidel, salvia is NOTHING like shrooms, or any other drug, don't fool yourself. also, try 1 hit and wait a bit before having any more your first time, and hold it 30 seconds to get the full effect. and don't be anywhere you could hurt yourself. like if it's outside, don't be near a cliff or something, you could quite easily walk right off.

thanks for the replies, its making me really anxious to try it...im going to be doing it inside my friends house so im pretty sure it will be cool....we are all going to do it for the first time...haha its gonna be one hell of a night, i wish we could tape it....but i'll definately post about it when i get home.....how long does the effect last usually?

lol yeah did you laugh when it suddenly hit you because with me and a lot of people i seen take it. as soon as it hit them they just laughed

hahaha...ok, well it seems as if the drug gives a more trippy sensation than a pleasurable one...but if it only lasts that long then its all good.

hey wait read this before you do it, make sure you dont waste it by smoking it like weed, to get THE MOST out of your salvia u need to burn the fuck out of it with your lighter , use a base of weed and sprinkle one pinch like take a flathead screwdriver and then use that to take one scoop out of the container then put it on a little bud of weed in your pipe (or if you have a screen then nvm) then take a hit and keep burning it with the lighter for the entire hit then hold it in for at least 20-25 second (17 seconds for salvia to absorb)

NOW IF YOU DO IT RIGHT then you will feel the effects smack u in the face before you even exhale. and with 20X you are gonna hallucinate but its gonna start as a body buzz then you're gonna get hit with a brick wall of crazyness, just let it wash over you and experience the ego death that usually comes with it, then get up, walk around a little and see how different things look , and enjoy it while it lasts because its a 5-10 min trip, but can seem like hours when you trip really really hard.

Have fun be safe and dont expect anything because you cannot imagine what salvia is gonna be like its so intense and strange.

its a mad drug reminds me of pcp in a way you ever tried more than 20x salvia and what hallucinations have you had of it before?

Thanks guys, i will be doing it with 2 other friends of mine who havent done it either so all of our ego's will be in jeapordy...so that should be fun! haha...not only have you guys made me more excited, you also made me a hell of a lot more nervous...
