I've been smoking atleast once a day for afew months and I decided to make my tolerance go down. It's been 4 days and my emper is worse than it ever was. I've always had an extremely bad temper which has to do with my OCD and ADHD. But it never has gotten this bad. I was playing my guitar and I messed up on the same note 3 times in a row and lost it. Has anyone else experienced this? If so is there anyway to get around having a bad temper?

I know just what u mean, I've been lookin for some bud in MD for a while. And I snapped at my girl tonite. We had an argument over my looking for some more smoke and she says "u act like u can't live without it," then I cursed her out a little and stopped speaking for the rest of the nite. She went to bed pissed.

I naturally have a shitty temper and pot has been the only thing that keeps me relaxed, and I never blow up, if I feel like I'm gonna break, I take a puff and I'm normal
I haven't smoked in 2 weeks and I'm really seeing the effects I hate it, I can flip at the drop of a hat, and I feel bad because I get so snappy over stupid shit, and a lot of people just don't understand and say I'm addicted and blah
I'm trying not to be dependent but it just seems to be the only thing that keeps me calm, I have bi-polar and weed is the only thing that keeps me leveled throughout the day

I was diagnosed with adhd at 5 th grade. have been smoking bud in moderation instead of takking med 33 now and have no problem I to get really edggy if I dont have my tokes. If you get really bad try doing multiple tasks at once keeps your mind busy and your hands and it help some one of the reasons I became a chef ringo420.
Mines isnt, the only time I ever notice my temper different than usual is when I'm having a good high and either some kid or some one in my age group (who acts like a little fuckin' kid) starts playin around and wont ever stfu. That just fucks my high up and I take the shit personal..it's really annoying.
ha i know what you're talking about orangeman. and i get pretty unnerved when i go a few days without smoking, it sucks.
Yeah, we've all probably experienced some one that is just known for fuckin up your high lol. But come to think of it actually I'm quite fine without it, actually I could quit if I choose (I did say I was gonna take a break) but changed my mind. The only time I get...angry when I cant have it is if I'm stressed. If I'm already happy or just slightly mad I'm fine but if I'm stressed and I dont even think I'll make it to the next day the stuff always helps me, seriously.Quote:

I have anger management problems that often lead to violent tendencies and doing it keeps me level. I don't freak out as much or at all when I'm high and relaxed. The bad temper doesn't come from quitting like a psychological withdrawl it's been there since I was a kid because of the way I was raised. I think smoking has saved me from going to jail more than once, alot more.
i dont get angry i just get bored as hell... but only at certain times when i know i could be smokin away but i dont have any weed or any money to buy some (times when no one is in the house but me, they're my favorite time to smoke because i just take my bong right down to my computer and listen to music or play some game or something while i get ripped... those times are the worst.
on the way home from school it sucks too because i love havin a smoke out the window in my room when i get home but i know that i'll have to go home and chill or something.
another thing is that my boredness always goes away after a week or so of no smoking... probably because i'm used to being sober and i'm not worrying about weed. the worst is the first day you're dry... which is happening to me right now :( BUT i'm pickin up a paycheck in a little while and buyin a nice eigth to last me until the end of the weekend (i dont have any more smoking buddies they're all takin breaks and shit... but my weed will last me forever hooray)
When I go a few days w/o smoking, I definately notice an increase in how fast I get pissed off. The first day or 2 of not smoking isnt that bad to me because once you have smoked for a month or more everyday, sobriety is kinda fun for a while.
All hell breaks loose on the third day though. The last 3 or 4 breaks I have taken have always been the worst on the 3rd day. I just snap on people at work, at my house, and freinds. It dosent help any that I have had a VERY bad temper for the majority of my life either.
i just recently took a weeklong break actually... 8 days of total sobriety.
it was weird though because i went home for spring break, but i was smoking pot, drinking, doing drugs and partying on thursday night, then on friday morning i got real stoned before flying back home. i went to a party once i got there and got drunk as fuck and stoned. but after that party i didn't smoke for 8 days, didn't drink except for two beers in mexico over spring break, still haven't done any dope (its been over three weeks now!), and haven't gotten drunk really at all for 3 weeks either. i have been smoking tons of nugs but the point is i didn't feel like shit quitting alcohol pot and heroin cold turkey after doing all three every day for a while.
when i seriously want a break i get on a fitness/work-out kick. did three months in 05 only 2 joints then started vaporizing nov. 2005 every day since... time 4 a break soon... imfs..:stoned: my vaporizer is next to the cp..
I definitely agree with you about not caring about all the BS and stuff like that. I don't change my mood much when I haven't smoked in awhile. I guess it just doesn't bother me that much anymore. Smoking has just made me more relaxed and a laidback person.Quote:

Yeah...I know all to well about what your referring to. My husband has a horrible streak of a temper when we're without smoke....and, unfortunately, we moved to NC and haven't been able to make contacts so we've had to deal with moodiness for a little while now. In FL we never had a hard time finding it and up here even though I know a lot of people do it, we just can't make contacts...its sucks!!! But, someone said that after a few wks it gets easier, and it does...but we still crave it, I wake up each morning hoping to find some...no luck yet though

I think the only time I get a bad temper is right when I'm about to smoke or rolling something. Because I have my mind set on smoking and I don't want some dumbass friend of mine doing something stupid, so I get bitchy and mean to keep them in line. But after I smoke, I'm the nicest person. :)
I'm taking a break right now and I feel fine. It's like the high of being sober if you kind of know what I mean. I feel pretty great. AMAZING.
