For me it feels sometimes like it goes back to around my tonsil area and it is hard to swollow, but all I do is drink water or something and it goes away for me. I dont think it has ever been like you said yours is like though thankfully.
I think the fact that I was Totally freaking out on purplehaze might have made it seem worse to me.
