Family meeting. lol.

So this sunday at 4:30pm my parents will be hosting a family discussion for me and my two sisters. What a joy it will be. From what I remember, some of the topics include: Coming home stoned, why my room smells like pot, leaving my window open, slutty sisters. There was a bunch more rambled in here, but those are the ones that struck a note. The weird thing is my parents were laughing..kind of jokingly...as they told me. Hard to guess the seriousness on this one. Either way, it will be fun for them to try and explain why cannabis is bad. I think they only have one argument for it..that it's illegal. Time to plan my speech on why cannabis is great! Maybe i'll stick in a line or two about how my sisters really aren't that slutty. I hope. Will update sunday haha.

The weird thing is, im not worried one bit. Should be a wonderful and informative event:p

And if anyone has some good facts to throw at them, post 'em here!

I don't know. I think it might have something to do with dating people that have tattoos.Yeah my parents are pretty old fashion...but my sisters are both 21..don't live here....what do my parents expect? When im 21, i sure as hell don't plan on attending any sort of family meeting telling me how to live my life.

if they don't let you reason with them a little bit, make sure you hit em with the "if you don't want to listen to my reasoning then i'm sure as hell not listening to yours"

and you can't win the legality argument... it's impossible. BUT you can get them to look at the drug in a different light for sure, and you may change their opinion on it.

yea that was the main thing my parents used against me, its illegal. and that they think im going to do it for the rest of my life and that will somehow have a negative affect on relationships and future jobs blah blah. but i alraedy plan on stopping after college and only doing it on special occasions like trips to holland. u could use something like that.

haha i like that first line. Im pretty sure they'll reason with me..I just gotta convince 'em. Shouldn't be too hard, my grades are good, I do my chores, and I stay out of everyones hair, so to speak. Im lazy but ive always been lazy...REALLY lazy. and they can't blame it on the pot, only their genes!

Shit, I'd tell 'em I'm a stoner and aint a damn thing they can do about it.

just tell them that you could of gone
out and get totally pissed on alcohol and maybe die of alcohol poisoning
but you chose the safer thing and no matter how much ya smoke ya wont die or cause any illneses
this will show them that ya have done reaserch and have used your brain about the whole idea
ill even post a link for you to show your parents if they dont beleive it !!!

Buster, that reminds of a joke i heard a little while ago. Actually i prolly got from this site.

Three guys shared an apartment. An alchoholic, a meth-head, and chronic smoker. The alchoholic drank too much, got alcohol poisening. The meth addicted dude did too much meth and OD'd. The pot-head smoked way too much, fell asleep and woke up the next day.

Well, its not really funny so i guess its not really a joke but the message is clear. The best tonic be the chronic!
