Fighting Back In The Drug War

Here's an idea I thought I'd throw out to anyone interested in fighting back in the drug war.

Buy a new bong, but don't smoke any weed out of it (so as not to get any resin on the bong). Also, buy some pipe tobacco or salvia or some other legal smoke. Now drive through your town decked out in pothead clothes. I'm thinking tie-dye pot leaf shirts and everything. Make sure you are 100% not stoned. Just cruise with your buddies smoking the stuff (if it's salvia or something make sure the driver doesn't get any!) Make sure any popo can see what you're up to. When they pull you over, let them search the car, search you, search everything. Claim that you are using perfectly legal products and that you have broken no laws.

If we get enough people doing this, maybe cops will get used to the idea of seeing people take bong rips in cars and won't pull us over. I doubt it, but who knows? I just think it would be funny to see some guy at a red light next to a cop car taking a big tobacco bong rip.

P.S. I am really high.

Lol..I'm so gunna go into the middle of the city and just blaze a few saliva's. This weekend.

I wonder if cops can say that smoking a bong in a car is a hazard in some way? I dunno it would be bending laws for sure but laws are bent alot...

That's the point. Nothing's going to change if we do everything they want us to do. We have to bend the rules sometimes, and even break them when necessary. Like now for instance, I'm going to break the law against smoking cannabis. *spark*

it may vary state to state, but I'm pretty sure that salvia can only be sold as incense. Smoking it would be prolly be considered illeagle. I beleive that's why so many head shops are wary of selling it.

Good idea. I think we have the right concept, its like overgrowing the government with bong toking. I think that in some states the bong itself may be illegal? I dont know, but one thing is for sure there should be a united, concentrated effort..
Patience...it is only a matter of time before prohibition ends, one way or another. Mwahah

They would have a harder time justifying the bong ban in those states if tons of people in the rest of the country were using them for tobacco in public places!

Good idea, but I propose civil disobedience. All we need is a good speaker, a lot of pot, and a place to sit and smoke peacefully.

I think this is a pretty good idea actually. however, it shouldn't be salvia because they can still take you in for public intoxication (even if you're not intoxicated).

Just a guess, but they would try to say (and probably succeed in US courts) that it is that ever popular "drug paraphenalia" moniker would be applied to whatever you were using regardless of presence of actual weed. If nothing else than the fact that bongs or water pipes are commonly used with marijuana.

Not that this would be right, but more than likely true.

I read the whole post and about halfway through decided that this had to be one of the most half-baked ideas I have ever read someone coming up with.

That sounds like a great and funny idea but there maybe a snag to that! :(

Though they cant bust you for any illegal substance, they may still bust you for Paraphernalia possession...?:confused:

Make copies of these and pass them out everywhere:

No matter what they wont stop pulling you over if they see marijuana paraphernalia. Dont you know they are in a hurry to get what ever they can in the evidence room so they can use it up later? :D

Uhh, salvia definitely isn't legal to smoke. I like the idea of toking some tobacco in a bong in front of a police officer, I'm definitely going to do this some time when I'm 18. Just walk down the street, bubbler in hand, and see what the cop says.

Not sure where you're from, but they already have been trying and in many cases either succeeding or at the very least policing them so hard they go out of business.

sometimes when I am bored, I clean out my bong, go outside and smoke tobacco to try and see if any cop rolls up on me.
