If a drug was to be the downfall of civilization, which do you think it would be?
Personally, I believe it would be crystal meth. It's a growing epidemic that is leaving so many people addicted and dying from the long term effects.
I've known many people addicted to it and have seen the problems it causes them and the other people in their lives.
This is just my opinion; I would like to know yours and at least one reason why.
I also agree with Meth
I've seen some great intellegent people literally throw their lives out the window because of meth, succesful people becoming homeless and begging for change
I watched so many documentaries on Meth and the destruction it does to people is really depressing
meth and crack are the real killers
mainly because of there addictive properties, their ease of use, concealability, ease of producing them, and their widespread use
god have mercy on the meth and crackheads

Im going with Smack, but Meth is an increasing problem in London, so soon it'll be both. The governments say that they dont want ANY hard drug addicts, but they wont legalise softer drugs... If they did, then people wouldnt be buying from a dealer, and wouldnt have the option to try harder drugs. In amsterdam theres less hard drug addicts and less soft addicts, even though its legal.
People dont rob places to buy weed, but they do for smack and shit like that.
I know first hand that if cannabis was legalised and i didnt have to buy from a dealer, then i wouldnt have had the option to buy coke as well. But i did and now i take that too sometimes. ITs not a regular thing though, im a cannabis man myself...
Well at the moment luckily meth isn't very big over here, although apparently its increasing. So I'd have to agree with Lip and say smack, it seems to be the most commonly used "destructive" substance.
A meth factory near my cuz got busted after a fire in there the other week. Cops think its been going on for 3 months... I'd hate to think how much shit came out of that place... at least its burnt to the ground now. Wow 200th post lol
over in canada meth isnt really big, i mean its one of the few drugs i wouldn't be able to get.

iowa used to have a huge meth problem then they enacted the new sudofedrine laws which make it hard to get the ingredients they use to make meth. now heroin is makin starting to become a problem. heroin pushers have been bringin in extremely pure heroin and give it to people to try for free so they can get people addicted. then theyll comeback for more and thats when they sell the unpure shit which is cut with other nasty chemicals. 25 people died from heroin overdoses in 05 in eastern iowa alone. thats a record.
I've seen Heroin destroy lives and make life very hard for addicts. The D-train can destroy a small city.
i had a cousin who was using meth over the summer, lost a shit load of weight(he's thin now and like 6'2, taller than me). i dunno if he still does it, i dont think so, but i dont wanna ask him cause he doesnt know i knew he did it.
opium brought china to its knees once before. I think it could do it all over again.

Crack, Meth, and Heroin!
If I had to choose one, it would be heroin, but meth is a VERY close second...My ex-girlfriend is in jail for manufacturing meth, and she's shot all to hell because of it. At one time she was the most beautiful girl in four counties, but after the meth, she looked awful.
She had kids, too!
Damn shame...
