Vote yes this November to legalize cannabis in nevada
:D This november nevada residents will vote to legalize people 21 and over having a ounce of marijuana.
See for yourself on the NORML Nevada news.
I am moving to vegas a month in advance so that I can vote. Rent is only $400 for a 1 bedroom apartment. Check rent yourself at yahoo real estate and move to Nevada!

if you're moving to Vegas, especially into a $400 a month dump, carry a gun with you everywhere you go ... Vegas is possibly the WORST place in america to live ... just a helpful Tip, you'll see what I mean after you're there awhile ... :(

Yeah, but the Nevada law also details how the State is going to sell weed to keep it out of the hands of the Black Market.
And in Nebraska it's decriminalized, but not legal. You just get a fine. Nevada's going for 100% legalization :)

like with everything, alabama will be last in line with legalizing ganjia. But maybe since nevada is pushing for it it will make a strong sweep over the country. Maybe that will pay for the horrible debt our wonderful chimp ass of a president has put us in.
Mark my word, if ganjia were legalized tomorrow in the entire us, and a program like what nevada is doing is put in place everywhere, the entire us debt will be cleared up one full year after legalization.
It's getting closer to a huge change, we have to have something to look forward to after the last few years being a living media driven finger pointing nightmare.
Next time youre checking out a political article on yahoo, go to the discussion page for that particular article and youll see more hate than you ever thought possible spewed on the net. There are a bunch of scared, narrow minded, greedy, racist bastards that roam the earth. If hendrix marley dr. king etc. were still around they would be appalled.
Ok done with my rant, anyone got any input? By the way, glad to be here yall.
peace:rasta:

This could be nice. I'm in california and within driving distance so I could probably still take advantage of this without having to live in a shithole state.

Vote yes this November to legalize cannabis in nevada
i think you have to be a resident of the state in order for it the law to work for you
-
Vote yes this November to legalize cannabis in nevada
You wouldn't need to be a resident, you just have to be in Nevada. The same laws apply to everyone in a state regardless of where they're from. Medical marijuana laws do seem to be state-specific, but that's because the state needs to approve each participant.

just buy from the dispenseries they are planning to set up......if you can afford to live in jersey then you can definetely afford to live in las vegas
-
Vote yes this November to legalize cannabis in nevada
Yeah I'm sure that if you buy from a Nevada dispensary it'll be perfectly legal. I don't know what the deal was with that ticket, but howabout this, don't carry an ID? But regardless, with a $45 tax per ounce, Nevada will be selling to everyone form all over the world because they'll want to make money.

As much as I would like to believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy I canâ??t get too excited about the predictions for Nevada. Not that the good citizens of Nevada are not smart enough to pass this initiative but what the federal governmentâ??s reaction is going to be.
The feds allow Nevada to have casinos because those casinos remain in Nevada. The feds allow Nevada to have legalized brothels because they stay in Nevada. But legal marijuana: no way are they going to allow something that can be transported across state borders.
We have a foreign policy to discourage drug production throughout the world to the tune of billions of dollars a year in aid. Do you really think the feds are going to allow cultivation and sale within our own borders?
Just look what they did in California. California voters passed the Medical Marijuana law by an overwhelming majority. What did the feds do? Wrote every doctor in California and told them that if they wrote any prescriptions for marijuana they could loose their FEDERAL license to dispense drugs.
Arizona did not want Martin Luther King Day as a holiday. What did the feds do? Told Arizona that if they didnâ??t establish MLK Day they could kiss the Super Bowl goodbye.
New York State used to have an 18 year old drinking age. What did the feds do? They told NY to either change their law to 21 or they would forfeit all federal highway funds.
Texas used to have the highest speed limits in the US. What did the feds do? Told Texas to lower their speed limits or forfeit all federal highway funds.
Believe me I hope that I am wrong and come November you guys can raze the hell out of me for my doom and gloom predictions. But I have seen too much of this crap in the past to even dream of states rights so long as Washington, DC controls the purse strings.

i'm pretty optimistic, but the federal assholes will definitely be interfering.
$45 tax an ounce, dang Nevada is gonna have some revenue, if the government taxed it that high it would pay for the debt in no time.
has the price of weed in colorado gone down quite a bit now that it's legal? even if the feds messed with people i wouldn't mind if the prices went down...
being pobre = My anti-drug

the fed will definately try to drag shit down, what I don't understand is this...
if we the people pass a law in our state by a majority, and we live here in this state, why does the federal government get to come in and change it?
I thought that was the piont of living in america, we get to vote and change things. If our votes don't actually change things......why are we here?
I'm moving to canada.

thaz what I'm talk'n bout...I'm doing a fed court case to force that very question...
my concern about legislative and initiative efforts is that this is a basic human rights issue, the most basic in fact in terms of survival, and if we do not approach it that way through the courts to reestablish human rights, we end up just handing 1 more tool of oppression to gov and corps to further force our dependency on them and in turn our subordination's to their mind boggling agendas...
Why not use the unconstitutional illegal status of cannabis as a foundation to go after the overall unconstitutionality of outlawing plants or any life form interlocked in the web of life in general?...
While establishing that, why not use the platform and foundation of our equal rights to access the basic commonalities of this web of life that go to our ability to even exist, and attack the "constitutionality" of patents on life{GMO's}?
To pursue the legalization of cannabis through legislative or initiative efforts will just end in exactly how the corps want it to end, it will open the way for patenting all strains of cannabis 4 profit and a continuance of the stranglehold this corps
owned and operated gov has on our existence...{see the movie "the corporation"}
These efforts that completely skip over the much deeper human and web of life issues involved here remind me of a civil war that was said to be fought to free slaves and yet wound up being mostly about fed jurisdiction and authority while the so called newly "free men" were abandoned on every reconciliation promise, no land, no mule...and were in fact left to fight for equal rights even to this day...
Why not do this fight like the constitution lays it out for us to do, and in there win on much farther reaching issues going to our in common continued survival?
Why not do actions like this in every court across the land?
