A novice to hydro or a novice to growing?
I hear Northern Lights is quite hearty, and forgiving. Not a bad yield, either!

"The Northern Lights (NL) is one of the most potent and famous indica varieties. Even though there are a lot of copies circulating around with variations on the name, there are only 3 pure types from the original developement of NL, which Sesi Seed Bank was lucky to acquire.
Historically, the NL 1, a longer, more strechy type with a fresh scent and good bud formation, was the basic of the NL cross that was sold as Sensi's Noerthern Lights. Curently, the NL 5 has taken over the most important role in the cross. Because NL 5 adds potency and reduces flowering time, but is not dominant in taste and smell, it also plays a starring role in the overall breeding plan at the Cannabis Castle. It has functioned as a test case for many crosses. The F1 generation is very predictable, giving uniform results and passing uniformity on to the hybrids it perents. The NL 2 contributes to the overallvigor of the plant and strength of the high, also lending its spider mite resistance to the cross.
Highly adapted to indoor growing, NL is a satisfying yielder that can finish in just over 6 weeks. The best results are obtained from hydro culture gardens. Small sea of green plants or bigger indoor plants will both do well, but remember that yield is directly related to the amount of light and space.
A pitite plant averaging between 3-5 feet, NL has dense, resin-rich flowers and wide fingered indica leaves. The aroma is pungently sweet and the taste is a flavorful mixture of sweet and spicy. The high is a potent physical experience that fells comfortably lazy and relaxing.
Northern Light's fame extends to the harvest festivals where it claimed the overall High Time Cannabis Cup win in 1990, and the Cup's award for the pure Indica category in 1988-1989. "

Personally, I'd go Hindu Kush, maybe Afghani or Shiva. But Hindu Kush would be my personal favorite choice; tough plant, good yielder, decent potency, and an overall rewarding plant in the end. Both Shiva and Afghani, if you're looking for slightly heavier yields, would be a bit better choice if that's the case, also.

Hydro is difficult, man, but you may fair well enough with Northern Lights...Not sure?
I never tried hydro, but I know many who have, and say things can go wrong/disasterous in a matter of hours, so get all the info you can before you start your grow.

Well, you can get Pineapple C99~F5 from the link below, it'll take you directly to the strain. As someone who has personally tasted Pineapple I can say it's definitely among my personal top five heavy hitters. First time I smoked some was a about a .4 - .5 gram toothpick joint, and I could barely get half way through it. And the fruity flavor comparison rivaled that of the best Blueberry and Strawberry Cough strain phenos -- or at least the one's I've had.

Kush, Thanks for the Link..... I Cant wait to order the pineapple C99~F5, its exactlly what i was looking for but i never knew it exsisted until today.
C99 is a very stable strain also.It is also a fast flowering short sativa dominant strain.
