Needed none if you know what your looking for and have good eyes. 30x if you want to get in the action.

How about the black craps they leave after taking a dump...can you see those two?
Man you got some good fucking eyes. : )
Go to radio shack and for 10.00 they have a battery powered tiny magnifyer that does between 30X - 100X close up.
You would want one of those for both inspection and harvest timing.
I found, on the net, a pic of a guy who has an awesum camera...and even blown up, full sized enlarged, you can see a sea of trichs...but not well enough to know the percentage of amber trichs...
karmax...you need to get a job working for the intelligence community and you could work as a spy satellite with those eyes of yours.
Most of us are mere mortals with glasses....and contacts:thumbsup: :smokin: :stoned:
fuck! I just ordered one on ebay/a 30x mag it was 7 dollars I guess it wont hurt to buy the one from radio shack and resell the one Im going to get from e bay.I hate to guess with the naked eye when I can buy a tool thats going to insure the situation, but u do have great eyes though,I bet u see what im thinking, lol:smokin:thanks guysQuote:

With enough experience I totally agree bro.But we're talking about ppl who just started growing.Look I have perfect vision but I can't seee amber trich's...I can't hardly see them with a 15x mag.glass.
60-100x is needed to truely see your thrichomes color.
But after several grows it isn't needed as much as at first.
But in the begining(like the first 5-10 years of growing I wouldn't suggest anything less then 60x)To be acurate.
And Hard on....Karmaxul seems to think his methods are the best and everybody else just doesn't know shit.Sorry Karmaxul...thats just how you come across.Need to work on your neticate...lol.Because I'm sure your not really like that.I acted similar to u when I first started coming in these forums. But after a month I realized ppl take things way to serious in chat rooms and forums. So I've learned to hold my toungue and pick my battles...u know! Just a little advise. You can tell me to shove it up my ass if you want .I'm just being honest. And I wont take offence because I don't even know you.In real life we'd probably get along well,I bet.
I agree with the gorilla. The ones at radio shack are the perfect price for what they are.
Just giving my prospective like everybody else. I dont think I have put anyone down that I can think of. Sorry if I affended you Jdog.

No offence taken here.I guess I was worried about other ppl's feelings...lol
radio shack are back ordered, found 1 for 8 bucks at www.bhphotovideo.com its a mini 30x pocket microscope.
i also have the radio shack one, and a jewelers loop. they run about $10 on ebay. Find them easier to use for quick looks as looking through the small scope of the radio shack micro is hard to focus with. I use both of them and find that I pick up the loop much more.
both the 30x magnifying and the radio shack 60 to 100x microscope is necessary and great to have if u want to harvest at the right time:thumbsup:Quote:

Radio Shack used to make a 30X that was perfect....now it it like 60-100X and that is almost too powerful
I think 30X is perfect, I get by with the 60X of the Radio Shack one.
I think you are missing the point. Spider mites pose no threat to us, but they munch on your plants and can do major damage if left to do so.Quote:

I have the Radio Shack Pocket Microscope, but rarely use it on my meds. But it does allow me to inspect other's meds that I occationally 'test'.
