The battle for greatest drug movie of all time...GO!
lol the reason no one has answered is because fear and loathing wins hands down no contest. EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW THAT
lol

I would personally have to go with Fear and Loathing though....It's the only film I have seen like it.
you cant really compare them because they are completely different types of drug movies. blow is intense and violent, fear and loathing is just like a long trip of insane situations. both are excellent movies, but completely different. its like comparing dazed and confused to requiem of a dream. too different to judge
I haven't seen fear and loathing yet...but blow is an awesome movie:thumbsup:
The reason I made a poll was 'cause in my mind those are the two best drug-culture movies ever made. Though 'Requiem for a Dream' should probably be in there...
First time I saw loathing i hated it, but second time I was on lsd and the movie was tripping me the fuck out.
^^^^^
Jesus man look at that bunch over there, they've spoted us.
Boy are you uptight... I just wanted to cut a little Z in your forehead. *giggle*
fear and loathing in las vegas is all flashbacks, in the book they start out at the beach, then all the drugs come in and whatever, but then they snap out of it and realize they have been at the beach the whole time, intense man intense :rasta:
plus hunter s. thompson was a mastermind
...clearly you need to watch the movie again, because that's not what happened...Quote:

i am able to get into fear and loathing more when i watch it, blow gets kinda slow sometimes
i liked blow but havnt seen loathing yet ... after seeing this thread i will definitly havta rent it
fear and loathing, for the immortal line:
"Can't stop here. It's bat country"
lmao
personally i think they're both excellent..... i think blow was a little more mainstream.....but preferred fear and loathing as it is more quirky which suits me
lets not forget requiem for a dream tho..... classic!!
blow isn't violent, only one person gets killed and it was just to show Pablo Escobar's power, a violent drug movie is Scarface.Quote:

i personally hated blow, so ill go with fear and loathing in las vegas even though i havent seen it. i watched around half of requiem for a dream though, and it was really really good.
