Couple hour drive ahead... get stoned?

Ok, so I'm going to be leaving my fabulous college town here in a couple hours to drive home for spring break, about 2 and a half hours away. I've never smoked before driving long distances, although I have just driving across town and I have no problem at all. But I'm wondering.. do any of you think the time will go by quicker? Or... should I even smoke at all? :rasta:

It's all interstate.. probably some of the most boring drive ever. All trees, mountains, and curves. Although I do believe Ohio and Indiana take the cake on most boring drives. But I'm going to burn some good tunes to listen to on the way home. Just wanted your all's input on whether or not I should smoke before driving? Any experiences you all have while driving stoned? :)


Oh yeah, I found out it IS quicker to go inside to a fast food restaurant to get your food.. especially when the drive thru line is insane. I got in and got out, with the cars that were in front of me still in line! Awesomeness! :dance:

i drove to chicago, and got lost as fuck, a 3 hour drive turned into 9 hours.... but i was high, so i didnt really stress, or remember it,.... from that point, all road trips require smoking.

when i drive to yosemite from la thats a six hour drive.
i go alone and leave around 11 pm.i love to get out of
town with some good music bumpin and nothing in front
of me but open road.you should investigate your route
because im sure your missing something fantastic.
pack a fat bowl of indo and just take a hit every so often
everything should go smoooooooooooooooooooth

Who cares if it changes how long the journey feels? Just get pretty high (not high enough so you can't drive though..) and take it easy, cruisin' now there :D

The trip is definitely shorter and nicer after having smoked some!

i must say driving through the city on a road trip at 2-4 in the morning is the shit, with all the lights and everything but with hardly any cars.. its the most relaxing thing in the world.

i havent done it high but i can imagine it would be amazing.

i love smoking and driving. but one time, (back when i was doing coke still) i had just finished up the last of a gram and got out on the highway. a friend and i were in the truck. he lights up a fat ass blunt, and i hit it a few times. i'm going like 70 mph and all of a sudden, my vision goes black and i start to "faint?" while driving. my buddy's just sittin' over in the passenger seat, not noticing a thing, until i start to try and pull off the road and come to a stop with half my truck still sitting in the fast lane. he about shit himself when the car behind us almost ate my back bumper. that's the second time that shit's happened while i was smoking/blowing at the same time. guess it's from the uppers and downers fighting each other. i dunno, but it was definitely crazy shit. anyhow... yeah, i'd smoke on the way.

I have taken many roads trips while stoned. No problem.

ive done loads or road trips and get lean..... even thru the centre of london which is reknowned for being difficult to drive thru anyway

ive stopped now tho, only smoke on short trips, but its cus ive gotta qucik car now and i love abusing it :)

I hate driving when I'm high. I'd say smoke now, and right before you go you should down and still relaxed.

yea man, we turned a 12 hour drive back to school into a 17 hour adventure but in all honesty we did not bitch once because we had weed, which was one of the reasons we lost so much time anyway but it was worth it

I always try to park it by 11:00pm, I drove for 13 years on the revoked list and the best advise is don't drive at night...

From about lancaster all the way to the ohio line in pennsylvania on the turnpike is some of the most boring driving time..... 5.5-6 hours to cross PA from just above philly going 80

yeah, i drive without a license, i try to have it parked before 12:00 AM.. i refuse to get pulled over!!!! PIGS!!! sometimes ill take the car at around 9 - 9:30, im not out too long..

ick! whats even worst is driving on a busy street that is famous for street racers and drug trafficking.. and having cops pass you every 5 minutes.. its such a sickening feeling.. it feels like your swimming in an ocean full of sharks around you..

lol at this, I love smoking and driving. I find that the time passes faster for the most part and I don't even notice. I usually smoke a couple bowls and then find a kick ass cd and go. I'm so into the music I forget about how long I'm in the car. But I still know I'm driving, haha, I won't forget that. I just zone out and go.

Just don't pass out.Annnddd leaving at night probably isn't a good idea unless your familiar as fuck with this trip.Hehe I learned last night being high and trying to give directions to someones house you've only been to twice is a very hard fucking thing to do.Needless to say we got lost.So be careful.
