What would you do in this situation?

Alright ladies and gentlemen, I'm LOST.

My Dad, who does NOT condone marijuana smoking and will not let me do it even if he disagrees with it, is UP TO SOMETHING! Now I don't know where this little policy comes from because I noticed something very strange about my stash yesterday. There was way too much pot missing from it. Too much pot missing that I couldn't let it go. I snooped around a bit through my sisters room, figured she took some. Nothing. Then I went to check my dad's room. Under a bunch of his condoms and my moms birth control pills in his top droor (which I was really surprised to find because I thought they had lost that flare long ago) I found a small bag of my weed. I knew it was my weed because I had broken it up and it looked exactly like mine.

I really was confused here, I didn't know if he wanted to take it away slowly from me and to try to get me not to notice.... until I found rolling papers (that were not mine) in his pants pockets!!!

I don't want him taking my weed, but I want him to try it too (if he has never tried it before and he's curious cause I'm doin it all the time) so I left the little baggie there unnoticed.

I was thinking about leaving a little note saying "If you want more, call this number (and put one of my dealers' numbers down)" but 1. I don't want to risk the dealers' ass if he doesn't like the pot and wants the kid busted and 2. I would rather just buy it for him because I don't want him to get into any trouble (he probably doesn't know much about today's prices, etiquette, plus he probably doesn't want to buy pot from high schoolers, i probably wouldn't either at 49 years old)

OR I could just whip out a bag and my bong sometime that just me and him are home, and we could either smoke together or I'd have my pot and bong taken away which would suck majorly.

Anyways if you have any suggestions, please chip in!!

Maybe you should wait and see if the bag dissapears or the weed inside gets lower? If you're worried that he took it for another reason that is. Otherwise, I say you make some kind of peaceful gesture ... maybe you'll end up being allowed to smoke or something like that ;)

Sounds like you guys are going to do alot more bonding in the near future. :D Just be honest and talk to your pops, im sure hes reasonable.(sure sounds like it)

Why not just direclty confront him? "Dad, i found some weed in your room. Whats up?"

Beating around the bush, leaving notes, taking chances, why bother? Just be a man about it and talk to him face to face under your own initiative.

i would be like, "Dad, i found some pot and rolling papers in your drawer when i was looking for __________ in your room." (fill in the blank) and then see what he says. DO NOT MENTION IT WAS YOURS! unless he says it is. then discuss it w/ him. that's what i'd do i guess.

pricisely. Doing anything else other than that will almost certainly create a bad situation for both you and him.

I would have left a little note saying: "You only had to ask..."

dude, ur dad just stole a bit of spliff so he and ur mom could get a little high. it doesnt necessarily (sp?) mean hes gonna be like: "yeah, lets get high together and then we go buy a bag each and smoke some more!"

well, u never know, it could end up like that

just take it slowly and see how it goes.

dont leave a note cause then he will no you were snooping around, just hide your stash somewhere else and see what happens, and i really doubt he hasnt smoked before. This instance doesnt make it a sure thing that he will be ok with you smoking at all so i really wouldnt confront him about it

but you know your parents better than any of us so go with your instincts

try to catch him smoking and just walk in and be like "you smoke too, i had no clue, so ah wanna match?".

Take your bud back, and replace it with oregano.

I kinda have the same situation, i know for a fact my mom smokes, found some high quallity weed, hitters papers, roaches straightened paper clips that are half black, smell weed in her room, all that good stuff. I wanna let her know i smoke and smoke with her so im thinking bout goin an buyin a dub and sitting it on her bed with a note saying im in the basement

Don't leave a stupid note or talk to him or anything, just keep checking and see what happens with the bag. Even if he does end up smoking it, don't confront him about it. Not all toker-parents approve of their child smoking. Its like saying "hey, my parents are alcoholics so they won't mind me drinking!" but some parents are cool with it. I'd say if you let some time pass and keep checking on things, like missing weed from your stash, and if it seems like he's become a stoner, then maybe do something subtle about it and see how he reacts, if he seems cool about it, then you could probably get away with becoming stoner buddies with him.

But thats just my 2 cents.

keep on the lookout for a red eyed father
