amount of weed and cost

ok, i know i sound like a n00b in jsut about every post, but thats b/c i kinda am. anways being really really bad at math i was wondering how many grams of weed are in an ounce, half an ounce etc. instead of looking it up or converting it, i'll just post it here. also, what are the quantities that weed is bought in higher then a gram. im used to just spending 20 bucks on a gram or 10 bucks on a 10 aha. how much would an ounce or half an ounce cost usually. also I read stuff about 1/8th 1/4th.. is that reffering to 1/4 of a gram, or an ounce or w/e? so if you guys can help me out with measurements, amounts, costs and all that crap. and when you cook with weed, you need to eat less then you would smoke in order to get high right? (and about how much would you have to eat- i know it depends.. but if you can gimme like a ballpark)

an ounce is 28 grams a half is obviously than 14 grams. An 1/8th or a 1/4 is refering to ounce i.e. eighth of an ounce, quarter ounce. an eighth is 3.5 grams nd the most you should pays is 50 for an eighth of some good as weed.

1oz = 28g = $50-60 (schwag) $100-150 (mid) $300 and up for dank.
1/2oz = 14g
1/4oz = 7g
1/8oz = 3.5g

Most people buy 1/8ths or quarters. Price can vary greatly depending on the quality of the product (see above) but those prices are about right for where I live.

I am not very experienced with cooking with weed but I do know that you have to eat MORE than you would smoke to get high, and the high is supposedly more psychadelic and lasts considerably longer than a smoking high. Hope this helps a little. :thumbsup:

wats some of the highest grade shit u can buy?.. like what makes some stuff better then the rest and how can u tell. I'm not sure of the kind I buy but a lot of people that have been smoking for a longgg time say the stuff i buy is go0o0od:stoned:

This picture http://boards.cannabis.com/attachmen...1&d=1139787360 is perfect as it contains all the traits that I use to spot good weed. Look for those little crystals, and any red/orange hairs. The more of these two things that your bud has, the better it is. Also check the smell, as bud with really strange/pungent odors is usually very good.

no seeds, lots of hairs, practically no stems, sticky, smells pungent, and you kno its really good when u have to muscle it to break it up.

higher prices usually means higher quality, but always beware of the asshole rippoff dealers!

ounce = 28 grams = $250 - 450
half ounce = 14 grams = $100 - 200
quarter = 7 grams = $60 - 90
eigth = 3.5 grams = $ 30- 50
dime = 1.+ grams = $10 - 20

In the Netherlands though prices are much cheaper due to the regulatory style. It generally costs like about 7-8 Euros a gram for REALLY good bud like NYC Diesel and AK-47.

try not to buy bud if its brown,realy dried out(crusty/flaky)or if it has many seeds

10 for a gram? around where i live most dealers are 20 a gram.. blaaa wtf

Tip of north-western Indiana, in my area prices usually around, just by what i've expirenced:

28g = 90-100$
14g = 40-50$
7g = 20-25$
2.5-3.5g = 10$ (I usually get about 3.0-3.5, rare 2.5) varies dealer to dealer
1.0-2g = 5$ (tend to always get about 1.5-2)

the weed around here hasn't been that bad at all lately, I bought an ounce and it was some good stuff, IMHO.

this is just me though, i'm pretty much friend's with everyone so i'm not sure if that has changed what I got, though I do know sometimes when my main dealer get's "fluffy" weed, he sometimes just eyes it and he can get away with making a dime almost close to 2g, so sometimes I wish I had a scale to make sure im not getting ripped lol :( , but yeah like i've read before, it tends to be best to buy 7g and above. If your looking to get dro around here, i've been told its double regular the price your buying, so 7g be about 40-60 dollars, rest of that stronger stuff, I have no clue, I was told before I could get some blueberry for 35 an eighth, and good weed usually doesn't get sold under an eighth to over here.
