Trader Joe's

Just wondering if anyone else shops at this really funky cool store...

ya i dont like it very much. is all health food. they do have some pretty good organics though

Trader Joes is alright. I would call whole foods a health food store not trader joes. Either way they have fair prices and usually get some good imported stuff.

hmmm here, trader joes is a bar/pub! never seen a store with the same name??

I will have to try Trader Joe's. Whole Foods has good healthy food a little pricey tho. Is Trader Joes's similar? :)

I love trader joes. They are much cheaper than whole foods, but we have a whole foods down the street do it's where we usually end up shopping.

i like TJs foodieness and organics but to me its all just a big act and overpriced

Okay, this thread is old as hell, but I had to comment! I effing love Trader Joes, it's where I primarily shop for everyday food/alcohol stuff.

My TJ's favoites are Jojo's, and their fettuccini alfredo in the freezer section. Anyone else have favorites?

they got some good shit there, i applied there once though, and they got a pretty wierd application, asks you a bunch of math questions and shit, bastards didnt hire me.

Yeah, I have a friend who works there and he says that they have a policy of not hiring an applicant who does not smile and look the person conducting the interview in the eyes. Not saying you didn't do that, just saying it's one of their quirks.

I used to work there.
They LET me smoke while I was at the register.

yep, my mom shops there, and when i move out, so will I. It has really good pasta.

Yup worked there for about 2 months and quit because my previous job was also at a grocery store. It's definitely a cool store..they've got imported products that you can't find anywhere else

i used to work at the local equivalent. i don't spend money at trader joes, but i do raid their dumpster multiple times a week for hermetically sealed hummus, guacomole, cheese, bread, and tons of other food that still has weeks of shelf life left.

I love that place.
Couscous can be hard to find at other stores, but joes always has a good selection, and their saffron is CHEAP and comes in PERFECT nug jugs... if you want a treat, cure a bud in a saffron-scented jar... OMG!

that place is like an oasis in the middle of the desert of scummy grocery stores. i love it.
